THANKSGIVING SERVICE HELD ON 30/4/2022

Thanks be to God almighty and May the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.

Firstly I want to appreciate God almighty for another opportunity to be here and listen to the doctrine of Christ and also another opportunity to learn new thing which will always renew our faith in Christ, forgiveness is a must as a child of God you must learn to forgive others, we should learn from the examples laid by Christ how he went round doing good even to those that hate him, he forgives and erases our names form the book of death and put them in the book of life.

Mathew 6:14 here i learned and understand that if we forgive men their trespasses our Heavenly Father will also forgive us but if we don’t forgive others our heart father will not forgive us. So we must learn to forgive one another and pray for one another, here there Bible says, for if ye forgive men their trespasses your Heavenly Father will also forgive you, it is very clear to understand, if we forgive those who sinned against us then God will alo forgive us our sins.

2nd Corinthians 7:14 here the Bible says, if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sins and heal their land. All we need to do is to turn away from our evil ways and confess Christ a our Lord and savior, God made a promise here which he will keep if only we do what he has commanded us to do, we should humble ourselves, pride is a sin and makes one lose focus on the things of God so we must be humble as we follow Christ so we can be able to fulfill the doctrine of Christ, God never left his people he cares and protect them only they obedient to his word.

James 5:16 here the Bible says, confess your fault to one another and pray for one another that ye May be healed, the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous availath much, as righteous people our prayers availeth much and God hears and answers the prayers of the righteous so we must pray for one another even as we confess our fault to one another. Praying for one another simply means we are pure and in heart towards another because you don’t pray for who your heart is heavy for we pray for those who our hearts accept, because our heart is pure so when we pray God answers. Let’s pray and forgive one another.

Psalm 105:1;2 the Bible says here, O give thanks unto the Lord call upon his name make known his deeds among the people, sing unto him, sing psalms unto him talk ye of all his wondrous works. It is our obligation to sing praises to God and make known his good works to men, singing to God is the fruit of our lips so we should offer thanksgiving offering to God almighty continually, we should make known his good deeds to all men, God deserves our thanksgiving offerings and so we should always appear before him with thanksgiving songs, thanks be to his holy name for he’s worthy of our praises.

1st John 5:3 here i learned and uni that we should keep God’s commandments because they are not grievous according to the Bible, keeping God’s commandments is what will make his love grow for us, the Bible says here that, for this is the love God that we keep his commandments and his commandments are not grievous, the commandments of God will only keep safe on his side and not do us any bad or evil, his commandments are the right way to heaven, keeping his commandments will make him give his angels charge over us, keeping his commandments will help grow in faith and not fall for the tempter, May Hod help us to fulfill his commandments, amen
