LIVE WORSHIP SERVICE HELD ON 29/4/2022

Thanks be to God almighty may the peace of our Lord Jesus abide with us all Amen.

Indeed it was great moment in the presence of God and also a great opportunity to listen to the doctrine of Christ once again through brother Daniel, it was all about forgiveness and also and repenting from our evil ways as must follow Christ and obey his commandments and one of the commandments we must follow is forgiving those who sinned against us even as Christ forgive us sins, we must learn to forgive even before our offenders comes seeking for forgiveness.

1st John 1:8 here the Bible says that’s if we say that we have no sin we deceive ourselves and truth is not in us, how can we deny the fact that we are sinners, we sin daily basis against God so we must acknowledge our sins and ask God for forgiveness, no matter how holy and righteous we are we can’t be as holy as God that is to say that we sin and be cleansed and forgiven by God and that is why we must acknowledge our sins and ask for forgiveness from God.

Proverbs 28:13 here the Bible is making to understand and know that if anyone cover his sin he shall not prosper but if we confess our sins to God we will obtain the mercy of God, we must confess our sins to God for us to obtain the mercy of God, it says here, he that covers his sin shall not prosper but whoso confessed and forsake them shall have mercy. We must confess our sins to God an not to man so that we will have the mercy God, the mercy of God is what we should long for, we should seek the mercy of God as we confess our sins and he will surely forgive our sins.

2nd Corinthians 7:14 here i learned and understand that those that call by the name of God should humble themselves and serve God in truth and spirit God said he will forgive their sins and heal their land, that is the most important that God forgives us and heal our land, it says here that if my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and I will forgive their sins and heal their land. This is the promise of God to his people when we obey commandments of God.

Colossians 3:13 here the Bible says, forbearing one another and forgiving one another if any man have a quarrel against any, even as Christ forgive you, ye also do so, it is important that we imitate Christ so that we will also obtain mercy and forgiveness, Christ laid a good example for is to follow, he forgave and he also wants us to forgive others and also have mercy on others, may God help us to understand and obey his word amen.
