Greetings to all the ladies of the hive! It is my pleasure to share with you in the Ladies of Hive Community Contest #136 on this opportunity to chat a bit about my family pet, our cat Lord.

Historia de Señor

I consider our pets to be part of our family. Lord was my companion while I was pregnant and then my daughter's playmate while she was learning to walk. I admired the patience he had with the children, he has never been aggressive with anyone and that is to be admired.

One year ago we emigrated from Cuba to Venezuela and the farewell between Señor and my daughter Maria Teresa was something that broke our hearts.

Seeing the feline chasing us in the car and meowing and my daughter crying because we did not take the kitten is an image that I have sadly engraved.

We left Señor in the care of our neighbors, an elderly couple who give him lots of love and feed him. There are also my in-laws who live near the house and are always looking after him. for him.

These days my husband traveled to Cuba for work and to visit the family, to our surprise we made a video call with señor and he recognized us. Maria Teresa spent a long time talking about her kitten and making cat sounds.

It is amazing the emotional bonds we develop with our pets. Animals never forget their families, was what a friend told me and reflecting on these words. Our pets, it is possible, remember how we treat them.

Seeing Señor again and learning that he is still getting into mischief in the neighborhood was great fun.

On our next trip to Cuba, we will go back to play xon Señor and return to give him all the love we have reserved for him all this time.
