Greetings to all! Today I would like to answer the call for the Deranged Photograhpy Contest, which this week is about cars. I would like to participate with the photographs of a Ford F-Series exhibition that I found in the parade of the fairs in the city where I live.

¡Saludos a todos! Hoy quiero atender la convocatoria del Deranged Photograhpy Contest, el cual esta semana aborda la temática de carros. Me gustaría participar con las fotografías de una Ford F-Series de exhibición que me encontré en el desfile de las ferias de la ciudad donde vivo.

This beautiful collector's item caught my eye because 60 years ago my grandfather, my mother's father, had one of these trucks assigned to him by the company he worked for. We have a photograph at home of my mother as a baby sitting on the hood. When I saw the truck, I immediately wanted to take some pictures

Me llamó la atención este bello ejemplar de colección ya que hace 60 años mi abuelo, padre de mi madre, tenía una camioneta de estas que le asignó la compañía para la que trabajaba. Tenemos una fotografía en casa de mi mamá cuando era bebé sentada sobre el capó. Cuando vi camioneta, inmediatamente quise sacar unas fotografías.

I did some research on this truck, and found that it is part of the first generation Ford collection were manufactured between 1948 and 1952 and its strong body and engine made this series stand out among its kind. Examples can still be found in perfect condition.

Investigué un poco sobre esta camioneta, y me encontré con que es parte de la colección de primera generación de la Ford se fabricaron entre 1948 y 1952 y su carrocería fuerte y el motor hicieron que esta serie destacara entre las de su tipo. Todavía pueden encontrarse ejemplares en perfectas condiciones.
