Tesla Bound: How We Picked Up My Husband’s New Company Car 🚗⚡

Hi everyone! I’m back with another story to share with this community.

This was such good news for my husband and me because he recently transferred to a new job. Fortunately, his company is providing him with two cars, which is quite rare—usually, one employee would only have one company car.

He has a Mercedes-Benz that is equipped with all the tools he needs for his work, and he uses it every day on the job. The other car is more like a private car that he can use outside of work.

And today is the exciting day—we’re going to pick up this car!

To get to the place where we would pick up the car, we had to take a train from where we live. It was quite a long journey—around 2–3 hours.

While we were waiting for the train, my husband bought a coffee. It was actually a really nice moment. Even though it was cold outside, we were both excited because we knew we were on our way to see the new car.

It was also our first time taking a train together to travel somewhere, so that made the journey feel a little more special. Sometimes, it’s not only about the destination, but also about the little moments along the way.

When we finally arrived at the station, we got off the train and were supposed to take a bus to the Tesla office.

Yes, you heard me right—Tesla! 😄 That’s why I was even more excited about this whole trip. We still had another little journey ahead of us.

After getting off the train, we decided to walk instead of waiting for the bus because it was going to take quite a while. I think the walk was around 30 minutes, but honestly, we enjoyed it.

We took our time, enjoyed the view around us, and just walked together. The sun was shining, but the wind was still cold. It was one of those simple moments that made the whole journey feel even more special.

The time has finally come! We arrived and were already standing in front of the Tesla office.

Since it was already lunchtime, we decided to grab something to eat at McDonald’s before going inside. After a few minutes, we headed to the office and told them that we had an appointment.

The process was surprisingly smooth. My husband spoke with them and handed over a piece of paper with the details. Then, suddenly, they introduced us to the new car!

They gave us a little explanation about the car and how everything works. There was a short discussion, and just a few minutes later, we were already sitting inside.

And then… we started driving it!

It all happened so quickly, but it was such an exciting moment. After the long train ride, the walk, and all the waiting, we finally got to drive our new Tesla!

There were smiles on our faces and so much excitement for this new blessing that came into my husband’s life.

We took the car for a little test drive around the area, just getting a feel for it and enjoying the moment. And then, before we knew it, it was time to drive back home—with our new baby!

Having a private car is such a wonderful feeling. You have the freedom to go wherever you want, whenever you want, without having to depend on public transportation or worry about schedules. You get to enjoy your own time and simply have the freedom to go wherever the road takes you.

For all of this, we are truly grateful. It may seem like just a car, but for us, it represents a new blessing, more freedom, and another beautiful chapter in our life here in Germany.
