Love, Laughter & Penalty Kicks: Our Elfmetertunier Weekend ⚽️🥅
Hi everyone! I’m new to this community, and this is my very first blog post. I’m excited to share my experience with you all and hope you enjoy reading it!

My husband and I, together with his brother and his girlfriend, went to another place here in Lindau for a special football event called an Elfmeterturnier. It was my first time seeing this kind of event, so I was really excited and curious about what to expect.
The location was less than an hour away from our home, at a Sportplatz (sports field). Before heading to the event, we first stopped by a friend of my husband’s brother for breakfast.
We had a lovely breakfast together, enjoyed some good food and conversation, and spent some time catching up. After breakfast, we headed off together to the event location.
I didn't really know what an Elfmeterturnier would be like, since it was my first time experiencing one. But I was ready to enjoy the day, cheer for the team, and, of course, make some good memories with my husband and our little group.

One of the things I was most excited about was that my husband was going to play in the tournament too! Since it was my first time seeing an Elfmeterturnier, I was really curious to see how everything would go.
When we arrived at the Sportplatz, there were already lots of people and players. Each team had their own area where they could gather and prepare for the games. The atmosphere was already lively, with everyone getting ready and excited for the tournament.

It’s a small local football event that takes place every year, and it was nice to see so many people coming together to enjoy the day, support their teams, and have fun.
After we arrived, we received our complimentary cup of beer and headed over to our sitting area. The team was already there, warming up and practicing before the games officially started.

As I watched my husband and the rest of the team getting ready, I could already feel the excitement building. I was there not only as a spectator, but also as a proud wife cheering for my husband. I had a feeling this was going to be a fun and memorable weekend!
And then, finally, the games started!

Everyone was cheering for the team, shouting, clapping, and getting excited with every turn. The atmosphere was so lively, and I found myself really enjoying the whole experience. It was so much fun watching the players take their penalty kicks and seeing everyone support their teams.

I was especially happy and proud because my husband’s team made it all the way to the final! It was exciting to watch them make it that far, even though they didn’t win in the end.

But honestly, winning wasn’t everything. The whole experience was absolutely worth it. We laughed, cheered, shouted, and enjoyed every moment together. It was my first time attending an Elfmeterturnier, and I can definitely say it was a memorable one.

And of course, after all that cheering and excitement, it was time for more beer! We continued drinking, chatting, laughing, and simply enjoying the rest of the day together.
It was one of those simple weekends that turns into a really special memory with good people, football, cold beer, lots of laughter, and a husband to cheer for.
