How To Paint Trees And Bushes With Acrylic | Lesson #5
Hello Hiver friends, Welcome to my new painting tutorial using acrylic paint. Since this is landscape painting, so I used the same paint and brushes I used in my previous tutorial.
In this lesson you are going to learn on how to paint trees, bushes. I want you to focus on our subject which is tree and bush, because I have a painting tutorials exclusive only for water and reflections.
Materials
• Watercolor Paper
• Pencil and Erazer
• Clean water
• Rag
• Burnt Sienna
• Titanium White
• Grass Green
• Green Mid
• Magentha
• Yellow Ochre
• Mars Black
• Lemon Yellow
• Cobalt Blue Hue
• Round Brush - #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
• Flat Brush /small - #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
• Liner Brush - #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
Note:Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Methods
1. Before to start painting make sure you have already a rough drawing or description of what you want to paint.
2. The underpaint of leaves of the trees is green grass. For the highlights is yellow ochre, mid green, lemon yellow and titanium white. The brush that I used here is filbert brush
3. Paint the trunks using mars black. The highlights is yellow ochre and white. You can use round brush and detail brush for the tree limbs.
4. For the leaves of bushes is green mid with the highlights of yellow ochre and white. You can use filbert brush and liner brush.
bush B - first layer is magentha, the highlights is white and a touch of yellow ochre. The brush that I used is filbert brush.
