Greetings to all Hiver friends, How are you doing? A blissful Monday, let's start the day by thanking God for the gift of life. In today's post, I painted a landscape view of nature's using acrylic medium. I called this painting, "Soothing Stream Landscape"

I am going to show you the step-by-step procedure on how to create a beautiful landscape.

I used four different painting brushes and eight colors of acrylic paint. It took me fifty minutes to finish this painting.

Materials Needed:

πŸ‘‰ Pencil and eraser
πŸ‘‰ Ruler
πŸ‘‰ Clean Water
πŸ‘‰ Rag
πŸ‘‰ Paper napkin

Brushes:
πŸ‘‰ Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
πŸ‘‰ Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
πŸ‘‰ Filbert brush
πŸ‘‰ Round brush

Acrylic Paint:
πŸ‘‰ Titanium white
πŸ‘‰ Ultramarine blue
πŸ‘‰ Violet
πŸ‘‰ Mars black
πŸ‘‰ Grass green
πŸ‘‰ Green mid
πŸ‘‰ Lemon yellow
πŸ‘‰ Yellow ochre

Basic Painting Procedure:
Background /Sky:
First, Outline your painting reference
Then, start working with the background. The colors for the sky are titanium white, and ultramarine blue. Blend them well and create a smoother effect of the cloudy sky.
Brush: Flat brush and round brush
Distant mountains: Blue, white, and violet
Brush: Flat brush

Middle Ground:
Trees and bushes:
Tree leaves: Grass green, black, green mid, yellow, and white
Brush: Filbert brush

Foreground:
Foreground Is the bottom or nearest object of the painting.
Closer tree: Grass green, black, green mid, yellow, and white
Brush: Filbert brush
Grass and bushes: Grass green, Green mid, and a small amount of black, with highlights of lemon yellow, yellow ochre, and white.
Brush: Fan brush
Water: white, blue, violet, green mid, grass green, yellow ochre, and yellow.
Brush: Flat brush
I put water reflections on the water, especially lights and shadows.
Liner brush/extra details: tree limbs, grass, and water lines.
