Art Journal: "House By The Lake" | Acrylic Painting π¨ποΈ
Greetings Hiver friends, How are you doing? In today's post, I created a greenery landscape view with a house by the lake and it is painted with acrylic paint. I loved painting greenery landscape because it also depicts our tranquility and well-being. The greenery view is a soothing color that will give you calmness.
I used four different painting brushes and eight colors of acrylic paint. It took almost an hour to finish this painting.
Materials Needed:
π Acrylic paper pad
π Pencil and eraser
π Ruler
π Clean Water
π Rag
π Paper napkin
Brushes:
π Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
π Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
π Round Brush #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
π Filbert brush
Acrylic Paint:
π Titanium white
π Ultramarine blue
π Mars black
π Grass green
π Green mid
π Lemon yellow
π Burnt sienna
π Yellow ochre
Painting Procedure:Background: Titanium white and ultramarine blue.
Brush: Flat brush
Middle ground:
Distant Objects/ bushes: White, grass green, and green mid, yellow, and yellow ochre.
Brush: Filbert brush
Foreground:
Closer Trees - Mars black and burnt sienna with a highlights of white.
Brush: Round brush for creating the tree trunks.
Highlights: white
Brush: A liner brush
Water: Create a water reflection on the water to make the painting alive.
Liner brush/extra details: tree limbs, grass, and water lines.

this piece evokes the feeling of being in a cozy home at the edge of a jungle, it's summer so the air's a bit sticky against one's skin and the ringing of insects can be heard amidst the surroundings-- definitely another awesome process of art in the making! π
