Corn harvesting in a flash
Nice to greet you again #Liketu friends. This afternoon I was out for a stroll along the village roads towards the areas that were planted with corn. As I was approaching the Castello cliff, which is one of my favorite places to walk, a shuddering noise reached my ears and I couldn't identify what it was.
When I saw that some of the corn fields had been harvested, I quickly realized that it should be the noise of a corn harvester, but it seemed like a very big sound for a combine harvester.
However, when I saw the size of the combine and the width it was shredding on each pass, I understood the big noise coming from far away and I also understood that in a flash these machines can shred hundreds of acres of corn in a short time.
I saw that one of the large tractors was taking this shredded corn to the house of one of my neighbors, where there was a large truck loaded with this shredded corn for the manufacture of fodder for the cattle in the area.
