The fight of the Magicians

Hello Splinterlands Fam,

Are you ready for todays epic battle lore! Here it comes.

The EOS was near and all I was getting as enemies are fierce Gold league players, and the heavily armed sentient summoners which doesn't need a master to control them but they make their own choices. Players and these sentient beings are not same but sometimes they force my hand pretty bad. And I was devastated by lots of defeats trying to finish my daily quest with death and life decks.

Then I stopped and told myself to stop worrying about Capture rate or finishing the quest. My focus established again and I was rolling so good, it was a win streak!

But my next enemy was fierce; I saw that he has a ruler of the seas on board. Well, if I win that won't be the first time I beat that character. I was energetic about the new wave of my fights going through.

There was no additional benefits for a magic deck but I felt like I want to use Obsidian. So I talked to her, she became my favourite summoner not because she's a good summoner but I usually took advice from her. (Talking to cards might not seem well but rest assured, this is just a story 😁)

Battle Link

I saw the face of my enemy, the red eyes, the level it has: Delwyn Dragonscale, Level 5, +1 for magic attacks. The arena was silent, I think they were feeling sorry for me 😢

But when I looked at Obsidian, she was winking at me 😉 What was she saw at it that I didn't already see. I checked the formations, made a litttle calculations and yes, there was a chance, a little chance that we win. I was glad that my Obsidian was also sentient and cheered me up!

The match rules are declared:

It is all decks are open, 38 mana cap, Stampede game.

And the soldiers are summoned and took their places:

And the match started with cheers and applauses! People are really trying to cheer me up, but I believed in that chance and keep my hopes higher.

Round 1

My plan was to sacrifice Mycelic Infantry, my queen commanded it to taunt everything up until its death! At the same time Unicorn and all other magicians were killing that spiky tortoise and making their way through. My healers are both healing back and front. Things seem to be good. People are also stood up, clapping and cheering like mad! Crowd was ecstatic on this outcome! But it hasn't been finished yet! Ruler of the seas was angry and you don't want him to be angry 😁

Round 2

Crustacean king killed instantly, and after that Ruler of the seas, wow! Some part of the crowd was booing, I saw that they are sea creatures that came to see the victories of their fellow kind. I'm sorry but my soldiers, under the command of Queen Mycelia are ruthless. The things on Queens neck was glowing, is this how she enjoys the spoils of war?

Round 3

Well, the rival team finaly took down Unicorn. You had better done that before fellas 😄 After that my soldiers got angry, they like Unicorn so much. So they killed two instead! Mermaid and Captain ghost fallen! The match is nearly won.

Round 4

I know this dwarf! This time only two attacks enough to kill it! But for the last attack all the soldiers moved aside and Queen Mycelia moved forward. She made some cries, awful noises and attacked right on the head of the dwarf. That ghostly shade exploded like a baloon. After the match someone translated what Queen said:

"In the name of my mushroom gods, Silas, Dr. Blight and my ruler Casimirio; I condemn you to death!"

I didn't like my name expressed near those awful creatures but still my queen is most loyal to me and that's enough for me!
