How could a Furious Chicken Survive a "Noxious Fumes" Match???

Hello Splinterlands Fam,

I'm doing my life daily, and I wanted to use Chanseus the Great for obvious reasons. Then I started using Shieldbearer + Uriel for lots of wins, especially on blast matches and Poisonous Fume matches. But something very odd happened and I was just saying how the f*** that Chicken not getting affected from poison!

Ok, let's go back and analyze what was the conditions:

Battle Link

Ok, the only thing I had in my mind was to use Shieldbearer + Uriel to overcome the poison. I added Celestial Harpy for an extra shot and maybe thinking Chanseus would keep it alive and Chicken is just for a one-shot sneak attack, that's all! I was not intended to keep anyone alive other than Uriel, that was my mission. And yet Chicken survived the match, how?

Well, if you don't know who chicken is here's is the card:

Those are ridiculous stats but yet it saved my team so many times I love it. But in this particular scenario, it should have died! What happened?

We (or at least I) don't see the real meaning of that sentence:

Noxious Fumes: All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.

Look at the word "start"; that means you can cleanse your monsters! Yeah, but in my particular scenario that didn't work like that! The chicken died and came back to life and voila, it was cleansed and lived a long and prosperous life 😁

I showed you a little bit of information for better gameplay, hope you find it useful.

Take care!

The furious chicken comes with a lot of surprises. This is definitely one of my favourite cards in the game. When the chicken is brought back to live by the summoners, it's not affected by poison anymore :-)
