Visitando la Cascada la Llovizna 🤗 en épocas de sequía... [ENG/ESP]

Greetings to everyone in the Lifestyle community. Today I’m joining you here to share another day in my life with you. This time, I want to tell you about my weekend during my visit to La Llovizna Park here in Ciudad Guayana. For this Saturday, my partner had planned a trip to the park so we could spend time together in a different way. He usually really enjoys this kind of setting, surrounded by nature and with the anticipation of a possible adventure (finding a new path, for example). Although the park itself is designed to be accessible, safe, and intuitive for people of all ages—whether children or adults—there is no immediate danger, or at least not to a certain extent. That said, if you venture beyond the park’s boundaries, you can reach the Loefling River and surrounding areas where certain risks may exist, since there are no park rangers or safety personnel. Back to my original point. Before heading there, we stopped to eat some delicious empanadas to fuel up for the hike.

Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Lifestyle. El día de hoy me uno por acá para compartir con ustedes un nuevo día en mi vida. En esta ocasión las quiero contar cómo me fue este fin de semana durante mi visita al parque de la llovizna acá en Ciudad Guayana. Para este día sábado, mi pareja había planificado un viaje hasta el parque y así poder pasar tiempo juntos de forma diferente. Él suele disfrutar bastante de este tipo de ambiente, rodeado de la naturaleza y con la expectativa de una posible aventura (encontrar un nuevo camino, por ejemplo). Aunque el parque en sí mismo está planificado para ser accesible, seguro e intuitivo para cualquiera de las edades, ya sea niños o adultos, por lo que no hay un peligro inminente o al menos es así hasta cierto punto ya que si se atraviesa los márgenes del lugar se puede llegar hasta el Loefling y zonas aledañas donde puede existir ciertos riesgo, ya que no hay guardabosques ni equipo de seguridad. Vuelvo a la idea primera. Antes de ir hasta allá, pasamos a comer unas buenas empanadas para ir con la energía necesaria para la caminata.

We used to go by van (at least two of them), but after calculating the costs, I think it turned out much better and faster to take a private car—that is, a taxi. So we arrived at 10 a.m., and I must say that thanks to the droughts that have been plaguing the country, the park looked pretty barren... the grass was dry, and even the trees were bare. It’s only natural that it would be like that. The heat was much more intense than ever, and it was a bit intense to feel the sun so close, but despite that, I was comfortable (I always come prepared with supplies). And what can I say about my partner? Well, he doesn’t like the heat, but he was happy taking his photos and walking.

Today we saw lots of little animals: monkeys, fish, and even ducks. I loved it because I was able to take some videos and photos of them. And I also took the opportunity to capture the park in its April state. We passed by the different spots in the park (the ponds and so on), until we finally reached the waterfalls, and as we expected, the waterfall was super low and you could barely feel the flow. Compared to other times of the year, today it wasn’t dressed in its grand white gown. In fact, there’s a spot in the park that’s the closest to the waterfall, and you usually feel the mist falling on you, but today there was none of that. On the other hand, I think it’s just as admirable, and we have to learn to appreciate those differences. I had a great time. I’ll leave you with the photos. Hugs, thanks for stopping by.

Anteriormente íbamos en camioneta (al menos unas dos) pero calculando los precios, creo que salió mucho mejor y más rápido tomar un carro particular es decir un Taxi. Así llegamos a las 10 de la mañana y debo decir que gracias a las sequías que han estado azotando el país, el parque se veía bastante apagado... la grama seca y hasta los árboles sin su hojas. Es natural que sea así. El calor estaba mucho más intenso que nunca y fue un poco intenso sentir el sol tan de cerca, pero a pesar de ello yo estaba cómoda (siempre voy preparada con recursos). Y que decir de mi pareja, bueno a él no le gusta el calor pero estaba feliz tomando sus fotografías y caminando.

Hoy encontramos muchos animalitos: monitos, peces y hasta patos. Me encantó pues pude tomar algunos videos y fotografías de ellos. Y también aprovechar de registrar el parque en este estado del mes de abril. Pasamos por los distintos puntos que hay en el parque (las lagunas y demás), hasta que finalmente llegamos a las cascadas y como esperábamos, la cascada estaba súper bajita y apenas se sentía su caída. En comparación a otras épocas del año, hoy no se vistió con su gran vestido blanco. De hecho, hay un punto en el parque qué es la zona más cercana a la cascada y se suele sentir el rocío que cae sobre uno pero hoy no hubo nada de eso. Por otro lado, yo creo que es igual de admirable y bueno hay que aprender a apreciar esas diferencias. La pasé muy bien. Los dejo con las fotografías. Un abrazo, gracias por pasar por aquí.
