Three minutes to talk: there will always be other ways to express my love for You

Hello to everyone in The Weekend Experiences community! I want to congratulate the community on making it 3 years since the creation of the concept of weekend topics. So with that said, I join week #156 where the number three rules. Let's get started:

Three minutes to talk.

If you only had three minutes to talk to your partner before you lost the ability to talk forever, what would you say to them and why? Write a post of at least 300 words and use pictures you've taken if possible.

Definitely losing my voice would be a pretty terrible thing for me as through it I not only communicate but it is also my musical instrument. So I would have two regrets: not being able to speak and not being able to sing. However, that is not the focus of the question, about how I would feel about it, but rather what I would say to my partner before I lost my voice.

It has always been said that the most important thing in a relationship besides trust, loyalty, love and respect, is communication. My partner and I usually spend a lot of time talking about various topics, from the most serious to the lightest, so I would have to think concisely about what I would say to him and I think the most valuable thing would be if he could remember the sound my voice makes: the color, The sound, register, etc.

I would tell him that I love him very much, that I would like to be able to count on his support in this new transition. That although I can no longer sing for him, speak sweet words to him, laugh beside him with laughter and listen to my sobs when I am sad, even the alterations in my voice when I get angry, I hope that we can create our own language. A unique communication system. Although I believe we have always had it as our way of understanding each other is not limited to a spoken language but goes beyond that. That I am not on my deathbed either, so these will be the last words I utter but there will be other ways to express my love for him. Silence is not uncomfortable when we are together. And finally that it is he who will have to sing from now on for both of us and that will make me happy.

I would like to conclude by saying that this is the most honest thing I could say to him since we both know our mutual feelings (sometimes words are not enough but it is always precious to hear how much our loved one loves us) and that if I have time to spare, let's say 1:50 min, I would take the opportunity to sing a piece of the song Everything by the band Lifehouse. It's our song. Finally, thank you very much for stopping by and reading my post, I send you a big hug and I'll see you next time.
