Sunday, opportune Sunday [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to everyone in the Daily Blog community. Today I'm joining you to share another day in my life. This time, I'm sharing what my Sunday was like. I wasn't feeling very well this weekend; I think I have either allergies or the beginning of the flu. Anyway, I took advantage of the time to take care of some things I had pending, especially around the house and some work-related chores.
Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Daily Blog. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes sin nuevo día en mi vida. En esta oportunidad, les comparto lo que fue mi día domingo. Este fin de semana no me sentía muy bien, pues creo que tengo o una alergia o el comienzo de la gripe. La cuestión es que aproveche para resolver algunas cosas que tenía pendiente, sobre todo de mi casa y algunas otras del trabajo.
So, making the most of my time, today I practically did all the chores I couldn't get to during the week. That includes washing some clothes, bathing Brandy (my dog), washing the bed linens (my partner says I'm very obsessive about that, but I can't go a week without wearing the same linens), and other things. Yesterday I had organized several things for the drawing class, but today I focused on planning a special class that will be dedicated to teachers of inclusive classrooms. So I tried to focus my energy on that, since that class has to happen this month, so it's practically a task for right now.
Así que aprovechando mi tiempo, hoy prácticamente estuve haciendo todos los quehaceres que no pude en la semana. Eso incluye lavar algunas prendas de vestir, bañar a Brandy (mi perrita), lavar las ropas de cama (mi pareja dice que yo soy muy obsesiva con eso, pero es que no puedo pasar na de una semana con ropa de cama puesta) y otras cosas más. Ayer había organizado varias cosas de la clase de dibujo, pero hoy me enfoque en planificar una clase especial que estará dedicada a los docentes de aula integral. Por lo que trate de enfocar mi energía en ello, pues esa clase debe suceder en este mes, así que prácticamente es una tarea para ya mismo.
I liked how it turned out, so all that's left is to submit the proposal and see if everything is in order. Having that done, I feel much calmer, since I've had the children's lessons ready since the beginning of the school year. A full school year with all the content. Although, of course, many things can change, and those unexpected events are where one must know how to act and handle them as best as possible. I also took the opportunity to go down to the garden of the residence, since I needed to buy something for dinner, and the day was too beautiful to pass up. I can already say that December is just around the corner because there was a strong breeze. A rare thing in Puerto Ordaz. By this time, my day is practically over. Me gustó como quedó, así que solo queda presentar la propuesta y ver si todo está en orden. Dejando eso hecho me siento mucho mas en calma, pues las clases de los niños yo las tengo listas desde que comenzamos clases. Un año escolar con su contenido completo. Aunque claro, muchas cosas pueden cambiar y esos imprevistos son donde uno debe saber cómo actuar y manejar lo mejor posible. También aproveché para bajar al jardín de la residencia, pues debía comprar algo para cenar y el día estaba demasiado bello para dejarlo pasar. Ya puedo decir que diciembre está aquí a la vuelta de la esquina pues había mucha brisa. Cosa rara en Puerto Ordaz. Ya a estás horas, mi día a terminado prácticamente. Me despido con esta luna que se asomo por mi ventana para despedirse de nosotros. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí.
