Espero que hoy se encuentren bien, me gustaría compartir con ustedes en esta oportunidad la segunda parte del trayecto de mi gran viaje histórico desde Maracay🚲 (Estado Aragua) hasta Barquisimeto📍 (Estado Lara🗺️), un viaje en honor a la fe que varios devotos le rindieron a la virgen de la divina Pastora🛐📿🙏.

I hope you are well today, I would like to share with you on this occasion the second part of the journey of my great historical journey from Maracay🚲 (Aragua State) to Barquisimeto📍 (Lara State🗺️), a trip in honor of the faith that several devotees paid to the Virgin of the divine Shepherdess🛐📿🙏.

Luego de pasar por las refinerías🏭 petrolíferas más importantes de Venezuela🇻🇪, llegamos al estado Yaracuy

El camino no fue nada fácil, ya habíamos recorrido el estado Valencia y ahora es que nos quedaba vía por transitar. El sol fue un factor influyente en esta expedición, ya que se estaba haciendo la hora del medio día en este punto de la ruta🌡️♨️.

The road was not easy, we had already traveled the state Of Valencia and now we had a way to go. The sun was an influential factor in this expedition, as it was making the hour of noon at this point of the route🌡️♨️.

When passing through Yaracuy we find several farms and land full of cattle🐮🐄🐂 and planted with banana bushes, bananas🌴, etc.

Hubieron partes de la vía realmente sorprendentes, pero no les he de negar que fue difícil pasar por allí gracias al calor del momento🥵☀️🌞.

There were really surprising parts of the road, but I have no denying that it was difficult to pass through there thanks to the heat of the moment🥵☀️🌞.

Luckily we had several cars escorting us and that helped us with hydration🚰, fruits🍎 and food🥪

Hicimos varias paradas en el camino para recobrar energía y contamos con el apoyo y recibimiento de un grupo de ciclistas en el estado Yaracuy, donde nos recibieron nos obsequiaron🎁 un refrigerio🍌🍋🍍 para seguir hasta barquisimeto.

We made several stops along the way to regain energy and we had the support and reception of a group of cyclists in the state of Yaracuy, where they received us they🎁 gave us a snack🍌🍋🍍 to continue until barquisimeto.

And after a long 9 hours🕑 of travel and pedaling we finally reach our desired💪 destination;

El estado Lara, donde nos recibieron también con emoción y felicidad, al ver nuestra gran hazaña, los ciclistas del estado prepararon un puesto para recuperarnos y nos guiaron por la ciudad de Barquisimeto🏙️.

Lara state, where we were also welcomed with emotion and happiness, seeing our great feat, the cyclists of the state prepared a post to recover us and guided us through the city of Barquisimeto🏙️.

El doctor pedro fue el primer ciclista🚴 en hacer esta ruta en honor a la virgen, por cumplir promesa a ella, la ha hecho varios años y gracias a él y el apoyo de varios grupos hicimos la ruta realidad para el resto de nosotros.

Dr. Pedro was the first cyclist🚴 to make this route in honor of the virgin, for fulfilling his promise to her, he has done it several years and thanks to him and the support of several groups we made the route a reality for the rest of us.

At the entrance of the Lara state you can see from a distance the imposing monument to the Virgin, called The Mantle of Mary Divine Shepherdess🙏📿🛐;

Needless to say, the virgin is an icon of the Lara state (she is considered its patron saint), being also a cultural tradition and long-distance processions of the virgin. This monument was inaugurated on January 13, 2016📆, as a gift for the procession number 160, since every January 14 this activity has been carried out since 1856⏳. This architectural work is considered the largest monument of the virgin in Venezuela🇻🇪 and in the world🌎, exceeding 47 meters only in the structure🔝, that is why it is seen from afar👁️.

Cycling is one of the most extraordinary and difficult experiences you can experience in your lives, that trip was quite a challenge but it was really worth all the effort.
