Spirituality: The Blessedness of those who fear God

Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, Who walks in his ways.
2 When you eat the work of your hands,
Blessed will you be, and it will be well with you.
3 Your wife will be like a vine that bears fruit on the sides of your house;
Your children like olive plants around your table.
4 Behold, thus shall man be blessed
Who fears Jehovah.
5 May the Lord bless you from Zion,
And see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life, 6 And see your children's children.
Peace be upon Israel. Psalms 128 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)

My husband and I take great delight in the promises of God referred to in Psalm 128, in which God manifests a special key to make a person happy or doubly happy.

There is a proverb that says: “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of Jehovah;
Fools despise wisdom and teaching. Proverbs 1: 7 ". When we compare this principle with verse (1) of Psalm 128, which says, "Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways," we can understand that the principle of wisdom has to do with the fear of God, which the psalmist says is manifested when man walks according to the will of God.

It is a great and great happiness when the person who fears God stands firm in the way of the Lord. Trials and hurricanes can come into the life of that God fearing person and he surely knows that God will help him and provide the solution to any problem that comes his way. This really is bliss.

Every person who fears God is well aware that God will bless the work of his hands and will happily eat the fruit of his sweat. The psalmist puts it this way, “When you eat the work of your hands,
Blessed will you be, and it will go well with you. "
Serving God sincerely and reverentially His name is one of much blessing and abundant prosperity.
It is not about reading a promise as a simple promise. It is about reading the promise and believing that whoever says it is faithful and true to fulfill it. He who walks in fear of the Lord, it must be clear that God fulfills what he promises and does not keep the blessing in his hands but gives it abundantly to the man who fears the name of the Lord.

Meditating on this psalm as a family is very happy because it reflects the many ways in which God blesses the person who fears His name.
