#hello hiveians

Thanking God for another bright new day thank you Jesus
and I will say this that what bad is bad

be good

WHAT IS "NOT BAD"?

A young churchy element was asked what was not bad in a relationship. He said hug. To him, we need four hugs a day for survival, eight for maintenence and twelve for growth.

Hugging is healthy. It helps the immune system, cures depression, reduces stress and induces sleep. It's invigorating, rejuvenating and has no unpleasant side effects.

Hugging is all natural. It is organic, naturally sweet, no artificial ingredients, non-polluting, environmentally friendly and 100 percent wholesome.

"Hugging is not bad so far as we are not kissing."

Another culturally literate entity was asked the same question. He said kiss.

The sixteenth verse of the sixteenth chapter of the Pauline's epistle to the Romans Christians was his locus classicus. It wouldn't be bad if it becomes customised to one's dedicated partner.

Afterall, kiss, either of the English or French variety, is merely a physical biological convergence of four succulent quantities for the exchange of pleasure and arousal of hormones on the platform of genteelish gentleness.

"Kissing is not bad so far as we are not having sex of any variety."

It appears like the very concept of "not bad" is merely a notion of juxtaposition; and we will be trapped in relativism if we follow that syllogism.

Excellence is a standard; not a game of comparison. And we will be wrong if our conscience is our yardstick for what is proper or improper. Conscience can be switched off permanently. Can be easily rendered to a deficient and inefficient regulatory system.

Follow excellence in your relationship, not just "what's not bad". Just because something is not bad does not mean it is good or excellent. Life is not a duality of either here or there.

Morals and ethics are all relative.
What might seem bad seem bad to someone, might be perfectly fine to another.
It also depends on the situation, which means we cannot generalize each case in the same manner.

In general I would say that if something feels right to you,
and you are not harming someone else in the process, go for it. :)
