Hello!!!, good evening my dear #Hivers. Today I will share with all of you my participation in the #ladiesofhive #50 contest written by @elizabethbit and this is the link: https://peakd.com/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of-hive-community-contest-50
This initiative presents two questions that make us go into the memory and remember how beautiful is this time which is autumn, and I tell you that in my country there is no autumn there are only two seasons summer and winter; and the days where autumn begins in other countries ends the winter and begins the summer or spring time.
You can read more about this here
SourceHere are my answers and I invite my friend @leslieebano to participate in this nice contest.

1️☆ With Covid, blockages and workforce issues due to this, many people have had more time off than in the past. So, as we go through some of the things you've been doing, my goal is to take us down memory lane.

What's a recipe that you've brought back from your childhood that you make today and what's the childhood memory that goes along with it? How does it make you feel?
Well this autumn season as I said before in my country does not exist, I live in Venezuela and here in the months of September which is when autumn really begins we are still in winter. And this makes me remember that on this date we were on vacation from school and in my childhood I always went on vacation to my hometown which is the Chaparro. There I was immensely happy with my childhood friends and also with my Aunt Julita who more than an aunt was my maternal grandmother and when she was alive she always made me sweet cheese empanadas.
This is a very easy recipe that she lovingly taught me and that I always make which makes me feel as if she was with me, right there beside me telling me exactly what to do. In this time of pandemic everything has been very hard for many of us, we have had many losses of family and friends; today I believe that we are still learning to live in pandemic and I certify that the best way to deal with all the changes that this brings is to be with the family.
Here is the recipe for the sweet cheese empanadas
INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups of corn flour
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • ½ kg of cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
    PREPARATION
  • Knead the corn flour and integrate it with the wheat flour and add water until smooth.

  • Place a plastic sheet on a plate which will be used to make the empanada doubles and a half-moon mold should be used to cut them and assemble the empanada.

  • Then fry in a frying pan with vegetable oil.

2️☆ Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year! I love the changing colors of the leaves; the pumpkins and harvests; the changing angle of the sun.

What is your favorite part of fall and why? I realize that our ladies below the equator, are heading into spring, but for the sake of this question, remember your memories of the fall season.
My favorite part of this time since my childhood was the month of October, as the new school year started here in Venezuela, and this was great because you went back to school with new clothes, new shoes, new bag, new SCHOOL supplies ALL NEW you entered a new school year it was great and I loved that; one of my hobbies is and always has been shopping. In these years of pandemic all this has been very difficult and we have stagnated a little bit or we have limited ourselves to going out, in short, a myriad of things as a consequence of the pandemic. Today I still enjoy this date because I live the excitement of the first day of school with my son Daniel who this year is going to 6th grade; he is very excited because he is going back to school together with his classmates and his new teacher. Last year was sad because there was no start of the school year and we had to get used to having a different rhythm of life, this favored some families and simply separated others. This year we will live this emotion again in the month of October as it is the return to school with my son, I believe that a good education with its comforts is the best thing you can give to a child, day by day I work for that so that he can get ahead as I did and be an excellent professional in the future.

You have received 5 LADY(LOH) tokens.
Please note that since our LOH token is still so new, that it will be worth more if we HOLD them for a bit before trying to sell them. Some of you have been trying to sell them immediately after receiving them, but holding them for a bit will help them to increase in value! We are working behind-the-scenes to try to keep the price stable, but the "sell orders" are hampering the stabilization of the price of this new token. Thank you! 🙂

Saludos.
