Painting; "Sunset at the beach"/ Pintura; "Atardecer en la playa"
Greetings friends! A few weeks ago a friend had given me a heart that she made using the art of origami, then I kept it at home, and I just saw it again. It occurred to me that I could intervene with paint, so I had the idea of making a sunset on a beach with a couple holding hands. This was the result!
Saludos amigos! Hace unas semanas una amiga me había regalado un corazón que hizo mediante el arte de papiroflexia, luego lo guarde en mi casa, y recién lo volví a ver, se me ocurrió que lo podía intervenir con pintura, así que tuve la idea de hacer un atardecer en una playa con una pareja tomándose de la mano. Este fue el resultado!
About the painting/ Sobre la pintura:
The origami heart was made by my friend on a 50cmx50cm crack paper. Then I intervened by making the sketch directly with paint in which it represents the seascape where the couple in love are located holding hands. I wanted to do this work particularly to experiment with a painting job with a special frame and different from the traditional square or rectangular frames.
El corazón de papiroflexia fue elaborado por mi amiga en un papel crack de 50cmx50cm. Luego lo intervine haciendo un boceto directamente con pintura en el que representaba el paisaje marino donde se ubica la pareja de enamorados tomados de la mano. Este trabajo lo quise realizar particularmente para experimentar un trabajo de pintura con un marco especial y distinto a los tradicionales marcos cuadrados o rectangulares.
