"The sun and the two drops of water"

Over the meadows of the majestic universe, countless planets and stars overflow it with their presence, making that infinite night a party with balloons and celebrations. In the midst of so many guests, one character has his reserved seat, an astro-prince who bows before his King to thank him for the brightness he radiates through his light. It is a small sun that, despite the thousands and thousands of years it carries, seems to keep the passage of time in a tiny container that hangs between his hands.

There are many anecdotes that occur at the top of the heavens, but the truth is that most recognize the work of that diligent sun that revolves around it to provide its light to all present. In its long journey, it has a set period to gaze from afar at many planets, the earth being its most tender illusion. There he always contemplates the beauty of nature, and looks at himself in the mirror of the sea that laughs at his witticisms, and in times of rain and snowfall he admires the freshness and joy of those days, longing to be able to experience such joy sometime.

And just like that, the clock did not stop ticking, while that little sun was unknowingly forming a cage in his heart, due to a great sadness that he could not control. Not even tears could flow because its brightness evaporated them and did not let them show. At times, the sun looked down on the earth on days of tender downpours, and he felt envious because even the most indifferent rock of that planet received the fresh water that fell from the sky, while he only had to be satisfied with watching and imagining what everyone felt.

Until one day at dawn, a storm filled the springs of the earth to such an extent that it attracted the attention of the sun that was walking in those parts. Upon arriving, the storm fled without so much waiting, and when the sun was about to leave, two unexpected visitors landed in front of it. They were two drops of water, both of purity and beauty, one larger than the other, one white with snowy embroidery, and the smaller one seemed to sing instead of speaking. They arrived uninvited, but from the first moment they won the heart of the sun. They were two drops of water that never stopped dancing, it was a sun that from then on began to shine not out of cordiality but out of true happiness. And whenever rain or dew visited the fields of the earth, those two drops of water greeted their friend with great affection.

And so suddenly came the moon dressed in silk, who under her smile and beauty kept a lethal blow and so strong that the sun could not bear, and all that it kept deep inside broke without remedy. There was no strength or life for a sun that wished to be extinguished in its inexplicable agony.

However, in the midst of a great darkness the stars picked up the crumbs of a broken heart, until a star came before the sun with the only thing that had remained whole: a smile engraved with gems, and a drawing on the canvas of the mountains. Putting it in his hands, the sun then remembered his two great friends, who despite not being present always had a very special place in his heart. The prince looked back at his memories, and the light in his eyes now witnessed the greening of all his feelings, recalling those moments when those two drops of water made him truly happy. The sun shone again!

And the happiness became even greater when a band of birds arrived with a message for this reborn prince, a few words from the snow-embroidered water drop that said: "Hello, my friend. Do you remember meeee?" 🥰🥰 And that became the most beautiful and unexpected message for the sun, who since then understood that his two great friends had never forgotten him, and so, there was no more cage or sadness that could overshadow the light of the sun.
