Hello Qc-community, I trust you are enjoying your day. I am excited to be in this community this week to share my view on the prompt raised by #queercoin. I therefore welcome you all to my blog.

When I was in my tender age, our biology teacher would just tell us that nature is living and non-living things. Still confused about it, I approached my mum, and as a teacher, she explained that nature is anything created by God, not by humans. Since that time, my orientation toward nature changed.

Nature is very beneficial to humans because it is real. In nature, there is the good, the bad, and the ugly side. For the good, it brings joy, such as when you hang around trees. The kind of fresh air that emanates from trees is priceless. The Rocks were designed and, over time, through rainfall, wear and tear, redesigned by nature. The hills, the snow, are all nature.
Natural foods like vegetables, fresh fish, mushrooms, and Ewedu are nutritious to the body. The body systems are detoxified with herbal drinks that are mixed with leaves to keep them alive and thriving after inhaling toxins emitted by industries and carbon monoxide from vehicles.
Nature can also be ugly, especially with those uncontrollable hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, rainstorms, and fire outbreaks. Just like the one that happened in the USA in 2025 and the Typhoon that normally happens in Asian countries.
Additionally, flowers beautify the environment and give ambiance for our daily activities. This natural beauty cannot be compared to the artificial flower. Some natural flowers and grass repel insects and reptiles that are dangerous to the home. For example, I use lemon grass to repel insects. It is also used as a herbal drink for detoxification. Garlic, Bitter cola, and onion scare rodents and snakes.

My favorite plant is lemon grass. This is because of its priceless benefits to me. I cook it and drink it like tea. I use it as an insect repellent. I also love hibiscus flowers because of their ambiance in the environment. It also attracts butterflies that help to ferment my sour-soup for the seasonal fruit bearing.
Furthermore, another aspect of nature that I cherish is the ability to interact with humans just like pets and plants. For example, whistling flowers (Acacia), I love them so much. It is mostly found around Catholic Church priest gardens or on special roads in my country. It makes whistling sound when the wind blows.
On the other hand, this natural habitat can be risky when it is not used well. For example, some flowers attract insects and reptiles; such flowers can pose a safety challenge when they are around a house. Again, some herbal plants are not meant to be used together; when such a mistake is made, it can lead to mortality. Moreso, some trees are not advisable to be planted near the house foundation because the roots will crack the foundation and pose a serious threat to life.
In conclusion, we are blessed with natural plants and flowers; however, decorum should be applied in their usage to avoid any negative consequences from wrong application.

I always say that everything about nature is beautiful and beneficial, despite it's ugly side.

Yes, it is, in principle but when we're talking about documentation and reality, we also need to consider the negative side of things no matter how good they are.
