Good vibes, friends of the Black and White community! Here I am, one more night, sitting under the glow of my Mac, writing about today's photographic series. I always try to share what caught my attention, both visually and through the message behind the image.

Time in my city never stops; children and the elderly work alike, and we often have to travel in conditions that—as I always complain—are undignified. The portrait I chose as the lead image captures this weight of time perfectly. I also share the scene of the small sweet shops common near universities, selling empanadas, alfajores, and rich coffee. I captured a portrait of someone focused on their phone rather than their work—a common sight today.

There's also the resilience of street vendors. I often underestimate the flower seller, yet I always find a happy couple buying a bouquet; it never fails! I also included a shot of a truck passing by, which highlights how tiny we are in this urban landscape, playing with motion blur. Then, the traditional emoliente stand, a healthy herbal drink popular throughout Peru. I also captured the famous kiosks being swarmed by hungry office workers, and finally, the classic image of youth lost in music and mobile phones—disconnected from the system, yet part of it. ¡Buenas vibras, amigos de la comunidad en Blanco y Negro! Una noche más acá sentado bajo la luz de mi Mac, escribiendo sobre mi serie fotográfica del día. Siempre trato de compartir con ustedes lo que más me llamó la atención fotográficamente y el mensaje que lleva la foto para hacerlo más interesante.

El paso del tiempo en mi ciudad no se detiene; trabajan todos, niños y ancianos, y a veces nos toca viajar de una manera, como siempre me quejo, indignante. Ese retrato que elegí como foto principal me encantó. Luego les muestro algo común cerca de las universidades y en todo Lima: esas pequeñas dulcerías que venden empanadas, alfajores, milhojas y su rico café. También capturé a personas más concentradas en su celular que en su trabajo.

La originalidad está a la orden del día. Vender flores es algo que a veces subestimo, pero al pasar siempre encuentro una pareja feliz con su detalle. Esta otra foto me encantó por el camión pasando y lo diminutos que somos; me fascinó el movimiento. No podía faltar el famoso emoliente, esa bebida a base de hierbas muy saludable y popular en todo el Perú. Para cerrar, los famosos quioscos siendo abordados por chicas que seguro salen con hambre del trabajo, y la clásica imagen de música y celular: desconexión total del sistema, siendo parte de él también.
