Monomad : Efik Bridegroom

#momomad today is about the traditional style of Efik people when it's comes to marriage unlike the Orthodox style.

Here he does not just have any best man, just close friends hanging around him through the process.
They are all dressed in similar attires of white shirts, wrappers instead of pants and you might be wondering what's on their neck like a tie.

Well it's called "Okpomkpom", I don't know what that means but it looks good for an attire not so corporate and not forget to mention, their shoes laced with beads.

Watching them dress in this matter is such a beautiful site to behold.

In this case, it was a traditional marriage as I captured the bridge groom and his friends.

They seemed glad with their walking sticks, they often clashed it in the air. It was wonderful and as usual I used my Canon EOS5D Mark II and my 50mm lens to capture memories.

I did a bit curves and optics during post processing using Lightroom mobile.
