Jala Typical Aceh Cake is a kind of traditional cake originating from Aceh, Indonesia. This cake is famous for its shape which is similar to a fishing net (jala). Jala cakes are usually made from rice flour or wheat flour mixed with coconut milk and sugar.

The process of making Jala Cake begins by mixing rice flour or wheat flour with coconut milk and a little salt. The dough is then pressed or bent using a special mold that has small holes resembling fishing nets. The dough that comes out of the mold will form a special net.
