Vůbec jsem nepomyslel na to, že sestavování itineráře výletu si může vyžádat detektivní pátrání. Přesně to se mi ale stalo.

Chvíli jsem pátral po jednom odkazu na soutěžní fotografii a pak asi hodinu trávil „procházkou“ po pražské náplavce, abych nalezl přesné místo jedné soutěžní fotografie.

Teď však zpátky k vyhodnocení.
Šest soutěžních fotografií od šesti autorů si prošlo hodnocením od šesti porotců. Porotci naštěstí nemuseli pátrat po lokaci fotografií a plně se věnovali hodnocení. Jejich rozhodnutí se dovíte za malou chvíli.
I searched for a while for one link to a competition photo and then spent about an hour "walking" on the Prague embankment to find the exact location of one competition photo.

But now back to the evaluation.
Six competition photos from six authors were evaluated by six judges. Fortunately, the judges did not have to search for the location of the photos and devoted themselves fully to the evaluation. You will find out their decision in a little while.

Dřív, než se vypravíme na nedělní výlet s ATW, mám dvě pravidelné poznámky:
1) Všechny fotografie odkazují na původní články hodnocených autorů
2) Všichni autoři fotografií obdrží 5% z výdělku tohoto článku
Before we head out on Sunday's trip with ATW, I have two regular notes:
1) All photos refer to the original articles of the evaluated authors
2) All photo authors will receive 5% of the earnings of this article
Jako ve většině našich výletů i dnes začneme v Praze. Chtěl jsem mít „dokonalé“ informace a tak mi nezbylo nic jiného než pátrat, kam nás to @godfish vlastně pozval. Bývalých skladových kobek je totiž na pražské Náplavce víc než dost a skoro všechny jsou upraveny jako příjemné posezení s výhledem na řeku Vltavu. Jestli jsem pátral správně, byla soutěžní fotografie pořízena z druhé „kobky“ baru LAb na Rašínově nábřeží. Prozradil mi to pohled na plovoucí restauraci Admirál na protilehlém břehu :-). Fotografie získala jednu ze dvou prvních cen.
As in most of our trips, today we will start in Prague. I wanted to have "perfect" information, so I had no choice but to find out where @godfish actually invited us. There are more than enough former warehouse dungeons in Prague's embankment, and almost all of them are arranged as a pleasant place to sit with a view of the Vltava River. If I searched correctly, the competition photo was taken from the second "dungeon" of the LAb bar on the Rašín embankment. It was revealed to me by looking at the floating restaurant Admiral on the opposite bank :-). The photo won one of the two first prizes.

Po „těžkém“ pátrání na pražské náplavce si zasloužím nejen já ale i vy ostatní odpočinek na tropickém ostrově Unguja (Zanzibar, Tanzanie), kam nás opět pozval @phortun. Ze své nepřeberné zásoby fotografií nám tentokrát nabídl pohled na „parkování“ lodí místních rybářů za odlivu. Fotografie získala speciální cenu a právo na účast v doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce února.
After a "difficult" search on the Prague alluvium, not only I but the rest of you deserve a rest on the tropical island of Unguja (Zanzibar, Tanzania), where @phortun invited us again. From his abundant stock of photos, this time he offered us a view of the "parking" of the boats of local fishermen at low tide. The photo received a special prize and the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of February.

Z velkého horka se přesuneme do menšího horka :-). Ano, další zastávky nás čekají v Austrálii.
@new.things nás pozval k jezeru Orr v okrajové části města Varsity Lakes v Queenslandu. Toto místo si místní oblíbili pro možnost sportování a odpočinku. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
We will move from the big heat to the less heat :-). Yes, the next stops are in Australia.
@new.things invited us to Lake Orr on the outskirts of Varsity Lakes, Queensland. The locals liked this place for the possibility of sports and relaxation. The photo won third prize.

V Queensladu ještě na chvíli zůstaneme. @vcclothing nás pozval na ostrov Stradbroke a nabídl nám pohled na Main Beach z nadhledu. Fotografie získala další první cenu.
We'll stay in Queensland for a while longer. @vcclothing invited us to Stradbroke Island and offered us a bird's eye view of Main Beach. The photo won another first prize.

A zpátky do Evropy. Polské Katovice jsou bezesporu zajímavé město. @sk1920 nám nabídl procházku večerními ulicemi tohoto města. Jeho fotografie získala třetí cenu.
And back to Europe. Polish Katowice is undoubtedly an interesting city. @sk1920 offered us a walk through the evening streets of this city. His photo won third prize.

Naší poslední zastávkou je moravská metropole Brno. Nebudeme se však toulat ulicemi, ale vylezeme na kopec Holedná, kde nás čeká @hairyfairy, aby nám představil zdejší rozhlednu. Dovedu si představit, že výstup na rozhlednu ve větru, může být malý adrenalinový zážitek :-).
Our last stop is the Moravian metropolis of Brno. However, we will not wander through the streets, but we will climb the Holedná hill, where @hairyfairy is waiting for us to introduce us to the local lookout tower. I can imagine that the climb to the lookout tower in the wind can be a small adrenaline experience :-).

Díky moc. Myslím, že ostatní soutěžící už se nemohou dočkat, až mi ty zanzibarské fotky dojdou :D

Growing slowly but steady, with limited time due to our intermittent internet connection I do not get to many places I enjoy sharing into, always great when I do get to see your posts going out.
