Oproti předcházejícím výletům s ATW bude ten dnešní výlet o něco kratší. Máme šest soutěžních fotografií a tedy šest pozvánek na různá místa ve světě. Vynecháme několik světadílů, ale i tak vám slibuji, že se bude na co dívat :-)
Compared to previous trips with ATW, today's trip will be a little shorter. We have six competition photos and therefore six invitations to different places in the world. We'll miss a few continents, but I promise you there will be plenty to watch :-)
Dřív, než se vypravíme na nedělní výlet s ATW, mám dvě pravidelné poznámky:

Tradiční začátek výletu v Praze je samozřejmostí :-)
Ne zrovna často viděný pohled na řeku Vltavu nám nabídl @godfish. Fotil z nedávno dostavěné Štvanické lávky, které místní říkají HolKa (zkratka Holešovice – Karlín). Vlevo nábřeží Štvanice (ostrov), před vámi železniční most a za ním kostel sv. Antonína Paduánského, vpravo Holešovická tržnice. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.

Kanárské ostrovy jsou oblíbenou dovolenkovou destinací. Není divu, že @cezary-io znovu vytáhl fotografii z archivu a pozval nás do Legolandu? Kdepak, to jen tak vypadá :-). Díváte se na noční snímek města Puerto Rico na ostrově Gran Canaria. Fotografie získala druhou cenu.
The Canary Islands are a popular holiday destination. Is it any wonder that @cezary-io pulled out a photo from the archives again and invited us to Legoland? No way, it just looks that way :-). You are looking at a night image of the city of Puerto Rico on the island of Gran Canaria. The photo won second prize.
A máme tu pravidelnou zastávku na Kubě. @wendy23 nám nabídla pohled na město Pinar del Río. Trochu mi to připomíná „socialistické sídliště“, které známe z českých měst :-). Fotografie získala cenu za účast na soutěži.
And we have a regular stop in Cuba. @wendy23 offered us a view of the town of Pinar del Río. It reminds me a little of the "socialist housing estates" that we know from Czech cities :-). The photo won an award for participating in the competition.
Následující zastávku si uděláme na úzké šíji spojující oba americké kontinenty. Konkrétně se zastavíme ve státě Kostarika. Se svou vzpomínkovou fotografií nás sem pozval @phortun. Black Beach (Playa Negro) u města Puerto Viejo je opravdu působivá. A zapůsobila i na porotu :-). Fotografie získala speciální cenu s právem účasti na doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce prosince.
Our next stop will be at the narrow isthmus connecting the two American continents. Specifically, we will stop in the state of Costa Rica. @phortun invited us here with his commemorative photo. Black Beach (Playa Negro) near the city of Puerto Viejo is really impressive. And it also impressed the jury :-). The photo received a special prize with the right to participate in the supplementary competition for the best photo of the month of December.
Na „přeletu“ zpět do Evropy „vyhlédneme“ z okénka letadla nad Dubají v Saudské Arábii. Přesně tento pohled z cesty nám nabídl @merthin. Ve skrumáži budov pod námi můžete také zahlédnout „jehlu“ mrakodrapu Buri Khalifa. Fotografie získala cenu za účast na soutěži.
On the "overflight" back to Europe, we will "look out" from the window of the plane over Dubai in Saudi Arabia. @merthin offered us exactly this view from the road. In the scrum of buildings below us, you can also glimpse the "needle" of the Buri Khalifa skyscraper. The photo won an award for participating in the competition.
Poslední zastávku si uděláme na rozhraní středních a západních Čech, v malebném pohoří Malé Brdy. Toulal se tudy @softa na jedné ze svých výprav. Nabídl nám pohled do krajiny z vyhlídky Čertova kazatelna na kopci Plešivec. Fotografie získala první cenu.
We will make our last stop at the border between central and western Bohemia, in the picturesque Malé (little) Brdy mountain range. @softa was wandering around on one of his expeditions. He offered us a view of the landscape from the Devil's Pulpit viewpoint on the Plešivec hill. The photo won first prize.
Letem světem za pár minut. To umíme jen na nedělním výletu s ATW. Doufám, že se vám to i tentokrát líbilo.
Fly around the world in a few minutes. We can only do that on a Sunday trip with ATW. I hope you enjoyed it this time too.
