I am from the time when practically everything was done manually (80's-90's); since that time I liked to write, only that I used to do it in my personal diary or in letters to my special people; typewriters were used for that, or pencil writing or pen. But as times changed, technological changes began and eventually social networks were added. For me, the first social network I interacted with was Facebook. It was the boom, I remember I wanted to know everything about it, I wanted to contact all my friends I didn't see, meet new people, new cultures, since this network encompassed everyone who had access to the internet. It is still like that.

Then the other social networks gradually arrived (at least for me, ha, ha, ha, ha). Today there are many, but the ones I like the most are Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, a little Twitter and the last one I added to my favorites was TikTok. There are many more apps for whatever you send and look for, even for dating, but personally I don't even know many of them honestly, ha, ha, ha, ha. In my time romance was about personal relationships, something I still consider the best, I don't trust in apps or in faces or emojis trying to show emotions, that's the part I don't love so much about networks, I think it has made some relationships very impersonal; although these Apps don't manage themselves, they depend on us to activate them and that's why it's a big concern how some people have become addicted to them.

I have always said that nothing in excess is good and that goes for all areas of our lives. In my particular case, I love interacting with the networks that I use the most as I told you before, because they are very innovative and beneficial, especially when we all had to stay at home, without being able to have contact with other people and family, but they never filled my needs completely, of human contact, with that I was very cautious; besides I did not know how to use certain qualities of these, like making calls by WhatsApp, I had never seen it necessary, since I used to make my calls normally and still, despite all these wonders they provide us, I prefer to follow the old school style in many things.

Like, for example, there is nothing like reading a book in your hands, touching it, flipping through its pages between your fingers. Expressing our affection and love with a big hug; doing, personally, my writing analysis without the need for artificial intelligence, for example. I think there is nothing like what we create and give in person. Networks came to help us, to make our lives easier, more bearable, even more pleasant. That is why I think that we must continue with the changes, but in a positive way; the proof is Hive. In the meantime, I will continue to interact with them from time to time, but with my affection for my old habits, it is inevitable not to do so.

Hopefully, many have identified with me. I'm sure they do, ha ha ha ha; but what are we going to do? We all, in due measure, must keep up with the changes of our times, as much as possible, even if we long to receive an old-fashioned letter from time to time. Greetings!

Soy de la época en que todo se hacía manual prácticamente (años 80-90); ya desde esa época me gustaba escribir, solo que solía hacerlo en mi diario personal o en cartas para mis personas especiales; se utilizaban para eso las máquinas de escribir, o la escritura a lápiz o el lapicero. Pero a medida que los tiempos fueron cambiando, empezaron los cambios tecnológicos y con el tiempo se fueron sumando las redes sociales. Para mí, la primera red social con la que interactué fue Facebook. Era el boom, recuerdo que quería saber todo al respecto, quería contactar a todos mis amigos que no veía, conocer nuevas personas, nuevas culturas, ya que esta red abarcaba a todo el mundo que tuviera acceso al internet. Aún sigue siendo así.

Luego fueron llegando paulatinamente las demás redes sociales (por lo menos para mi persona, ja, ja, ja). Hoy en día hay muchas, pero las que más me gustan son Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, un poco Twitter y la última que agregué a mis favoritas fue TikTok. Existen muchas más otras aplicaciones para lo que mandes y busques, hasta para conseguir citas, pero personalmente a muchas ni las conozco honestamente, ja, ja, ja. En mis tiempos el romance se trataba personalmente, cuestión que sigo considerando lo mejor, en eso no confió en aplicaciones o en caritas o emojis tratando de demostrar emociones, esa es la parte que no me encanta tanto de las redes, pienso que ha vuelto algunas relaciones muy impersonales; aunque estas Apps no se manejan solas, pues dependen de nosotros para activarse y es por ello que es un motivo de gran preocupación como algunas personas se han vuelto adictas a ella.

Siempre he dicho que nada en exceso es bueno y eso va para todos los ámbitos de nuestras vidas. En mi caso particular, me encanta interactuar con las redes que más uso como les dije anteriormente, pues son muy innovadoras y beneficiosas, sobre todo cuando todos tuvimos que permanecer en casa, sin poder tener contacto con otras personas y familiares, pero nunca llenaron mis necesidades completamente, de contacto humano, con eso tuve mucha prudencia; aparte de que no sabía como usar ciertas cualidades de estas, como hacer llamadas por WhatsApp, nunca lo había visto necesario, ya que me acostumbraba hacer mis llamadas normalmente y todavía, a pesar de todas estas maravillas que nos brindan, prefiero seguir al estilo de la vieja escuela en muchas cosas.

Cómo, por ejemplo, nada como leer un libro teniéndolo en tus manos, palparlo, hojear sus hojas entre los dedos. Expresar nuestro cariño y amor con un fuerte abrazo; hacer, en lo personal, mis análisis de escritura sin necesidad de la inteligencia artificial, por ejemplo. Pienso que nada como lo que creamos y damos en persona. Las redes llegaron para ayudarnos, hacernos la vida más fácil, más llevadera, más agradable incluso. Es por ello que pienso que hay que seguir con los cambios, pero en lo positivo; la prueba es Hive. Mientras tanto, seguiré interactuando de vez en cuando con ellas, pero con mis afectos por mis costumbres de antaño, es inevitable no hacerlo.

Espero, que muchos se hayan sentido identificados conmigo. Estoy segura de que así es, ja, ja, ja; pero ¿qué vamos a hacer? Todos, en su debida medida, debemos seguir con los cambios de nuestros tiempos, en todo lo posible, aunque añoremos recibir una carta a la vieja usanza, de vez en cuando. ¡Saludos!
