When I read this statement: "At this point in your life, what do you think is your main reason for living? How would you describe your purpose right now, and what keeps you moving forward every day?" It immediately clicked for me because these are questions where, depending on the season we’re going through, our answers can vary; but for me right now, the answers sound very different from what I would have said a while back.

But let’s take it one step at a time. If I answer the first question, “What do you think is your main reason for living?” My answer right now is my family; they are my main reason for living, among others. But if you ask me, “How would you describe your purpose right now, and what keeps you moving forward every day?”* My answer would undoubtedly vary, but at the same time, it would revolve around the answer to the first question.

I would tell you that my main purpose in life is to continue getting to know Jesus Christ and to continue grounding myself in His word and example, because without a doubt this world needs more of His guidance, of love, of brotherhood, of honesty, of humility, of respect for others, because I am certain that if we all looked at one another with empathy, understanding, tolerance, and love, the world would be a much better place, and I want to do my part, through Him, to make that happen.

And without a doubt, what keeps me moving forward every day is knowing that I am walking hand in hand with Him (Jesus Christ), that, regardless of whether I am gaining anything, there is also the love for my own and for others; there is no other answer. Cuando leí este enunciado: "En este momento de tu vida, ¿cuál crees que es tu principal razón para vivir? ¿Cómo describirías tu propósito en este momento y qué te mantiene avanzando cada día?" De una vez me hizo clic porque son unas preguntas que, dependiendo de la temporada que estemos viviendo, pueden variar nuestras respuestas; pero justamente para mí en este tiempo, las respuestas suenan muy diferentes a lo que respondería hace un buen tiempo.

Pero vamos por partes. Si respondo a la primera pregunta , ¿cuál crees que es tu principal razón para vivir? Mi respuesta ahora mismo es mi familia; ellos son mi principal razón de vida, entre otras, pero si me preguntas: "¿Cómo describirías tu propósito en este momento y qué te mantiene avanzando cada día?"* Mi respuesta sin dudas variaría, pero a la vez giraría en torno a la respuesta de la primera pregunta.

Te diría que mi principal propósito de vida es seguir conociendo a Cristo Jesús y seguir afirmándome en su palabra y ejemplo, porque sin dudas este mundo necesita más de su guía, del amor, de la hermandad, de la honestidad, de la humildad, del respeto por el otro, porque tengo la seguridad de que si todos nos miráramos con empatía, comprensión, tolerancia, con amor, el mundo sería mucho mejor y quiero poner mi granito de arena, por medio de Él, para que así sea.

Y sin dudas, lo que me mantiene avanzando cada día, es saber que voy de su mano (de Cristo Jesús), que, sin importar que voy en ganancia, aparte también es el amor por los míos y por los demás; no hay otra respuesta. Por eso decía que todas mis respuestas de alguna forma se unen en una sola. ¡Espero todos se encuentren en paz, tranquilidad y que el amor de Dios les alcance! ¡Saludos!
