Hoy vamos a hablar de Verdades incómodas que todos debemos enfrentar -Iniciativa- Y tú: ¿Cuál desarrollarías en 7mo. Día?; tema a desarrollar, que nos trae el amigo @emiliorios, el cual me parece sumamente interesante y es por ello que invito a mis amigos @ismaelgranados y @chacald.dcymt a participar.

En ocasiones, cuando veo a mi hija menor de 15 años con sus amigos y los veo tan emocionados, compartiendo entre ellos, siendo felices, tan despreocupados o ilusionados, con alguna salida al cine o por cualquier evento, me entra cierta nostalgia y me llevo a esos años en que uno era tan inocente de las grandes verdades de la vida; entonces le ruego a Dios, les guie por el camino del bien y que sepan que tomar para ellos y que desechar; cuando les vaya tocando enfrentarlas, porque les tocará en su momento y a veces cuesta mucho entenderlas cuando se presentan ante nuestros ojos. Aquí les nombraré algunas, que me costaron más entender.

Nadie es eterno en el mundo.

De esta gran verdad empecé a ser consciente, a palparla, como quien dice. Cuando murió mi abuela, me parecía tan irreal y, a pesar de que sucedió siendo yo ya una adulta, tenía 26 años cuando eso ya tenía a mi hija mayor. Cuando aconteció, recuerdo que cuando me tocó afrontarla, no quería hacerlo, me era tan difícil verla en ese ataúd; allí fue que concienticé que ese es el destino, que tarde que temprano, todos íbamos a afrontar. Ya en otras ocasiones, por supuesto que había visto a la muerte pasar y me había dado mi dosis de realidad, pero no tanto como en esta ocasión, porque me tocó con alguien muy especial para mí; en ese instante supe que todos sin distinción vamos para allá, fue más real.

El tiempo es oro.

Cuando somos jóvenes pensamos que tenemos todo el tiempo del mundo, precisamente, porque sentimos que tenemos una vida por delante y tendemos a procrastinar, sin darnos cuenta al principio de nuestras vidas, que ningún día es igual a otro, que todo es cambiante y que lo que se pueda hacer hoy es ganancia. Eso lo fui entendiendo con el pasar de los años y que esto aplica para todos los ámbitos de la vida, para estudios, trabajos, relaciones de todo tipo. Entendí, de que uno no debe perder el tiempo en lo que no te fortalece, en lo que no te ayuda a mantener tu piso emocional, que el brindarle tu tiempo a alguien o algo es el mejor regalo que puedes otorgar y que no tiene precio, por lo tanto, no debes dejar eso al azar, debes saber escoger, tus metas, propósitos, tus personas especiales, tus momentos, con quien si con quien no, pues recuerda tu tiempo es oro, no sabes hasta cuando lo tendrás disponible.

Nadie permanece igual.

Creo que a todos les ha ocurrido, que conocieron a una persona en un momento y al pasar de los años, la vuelven a ver y dicen "pero que diferente esta..." y es que nadie permanece igual, porque, precisamente, estas mismas verdades, van transformando a las personas, sus formas de pensar, sus sentimientos y en consecuencia actúan y generalmente dicta mucho de ser a lo que nosotros conocíamos. Muchos cuidan de mantener parte de sus esencias y eso es importantísimo, pero la vida misma les ha hecho cambiar en muchas cosas; es por ello que a veces nos llevamos "sorpresas" de las personas y terminamos diciendo, "uno no termina de conocer a la gente", ya que algunos se van por el camino negativo, otros por lo positivo. Pienso que todo va, según el lado que decidas elegir, si crecer positivamente o negativamente, tomar de las experiencias lo que fortalece y desechar lo que no te aporta en positivo, allí está el detalle de nuestro bienestar.

Sometimes, when I see my 15 year old daughter with her friends and I see them so excited, sharing with each other, being happy, so carefree or excited about going to the movies or any event, I get nostalgic and take me to those years when one was so innocent of the great truths of life; Then I pray to God to guide them on the path of good and that they know what to take for themselves and what to discard, when they have to face them, because they will have to face them at the right time and sometimes it is very difficult to understand them when they appear before our eyes. Here I will name some of them, which were the hardest for me to understand.

No one is eternal in the world.

I began to be aware of this great truth, to feel it, as it were. When my grandmother died, it seemed so unreal to me and, although it happened when I was already an adult, I was 26 years old when I already had my eldest daughter. When it happened, I remember that when it was my turn to face her, I did not want to do it, it was so difficult for me to see her in that coffin; it was there that I realized that this is the destiny that sooner or later we were all going to face. On other occasions, of course I had already seen death happen and it had given me my dose of reality, but not as much as on this occasion, because it was with someone very special to me; at that moment I knew that we all go there without distinction, it was more real.

Time is gold.

When we are young we think we have all the time in the world, precisely because we feel we have a lifetime ahead of us and we tend to procrastinate, without realizing at the beginning of our lives, that no day is the same as another, that everything is changing and that what can be done today is profit. I understood this as the years went by and that this applies to all areas of life, to studies, jobs, relationships of all kinds. I understood that one should not waste time in what does not strengthen you, in what does not help you keep your emotional floor, that giving your time to someone or something is the best gift you can give and that it is priceless, therefore, you should not leave it to chance, you should know how to choose your goals, purposes, your special people, your moments, with whom if with whom not, because remember your time is gold, you do not know until when you will have it available.

Nobody stays the same.

I believe that it has happened to all of you, that you knew a person at one time and as the years go by, you see them again and you say "but how different they are..." and the fact is that no one remains the same, because, precisely, these same truths, transform people, their ways of thinking, their feelings and consequently they act and generally dictate much of being to what we knew. Many take care to keep part of their essence and that is very important, but life itself has made them change in many things; that is why sometimes we get "surprises" from people and we end up saying, "one does not end up knowing people", since some go down the negative path, others the positive. I think that everything goes according to the side you decide to choose, whether to grow positively or negatively, take from the experiences what strengthens and discard what does not bring you in positive, there is the detail of our welfare.
