Mi Querida Ana:

Siempre me ha gustado saber sobre las personas, sus culturas, sus tradiciones, culturas y orígenes, sobre todo saber ¿Qué ocurrió por tus dias?, ya que fue una época muy negra para la humanidad, por tantas almas perdidas, ¿por que fue tan terrible, que sucedió con el ser humano por esos años? aun tengo muchas preguntas sin contestar, pero tu me ayudaste con muchas de ellas.

Supe de tu terrible historia familiar, que dejaste perpetuada en tu diario personal. No puedo imaginar tantas carencias, tanto temor y angustias, si no fuese por que las describiste de la mejor manera que pudiste, diría yo, casi que con las uñas. Llegó un momento en que me sentí en tus zapatos.

Pude sentir como ibas perdiendo las esperanzas, los sueños en muchas ocasiones, en que tu encierro era asfixiante, mas sin embargo, no puedo menos que admirar, la forma en que enfrentaste ese mundo de adultos que te toco vivir cuando apenas eras una niña, entrando allí en ese lugar de "prisión" a tu pubertad.

Esa edad que de por si es tan difícil, tener que enfrentarla en medio de 4 paredes y rodeada en su mayoría de personas adultas, no te debió ser fácil, mi recordada Ana Frank, tener que pasar tus primeras ilusiones juveniles, sin amigas de tu edad, sin salidas a parques o plazas, sin poder compartir un paseo por lo menos, con ese chico primoroso que describías con tanta ilusión.

¡Oh mi querida Ana! si vieras en lo que se ha convertido el mundo, en un desenfreno total en muchos sentidos, una tecnología que ni te imaginas, teléfonos inteligentes que hacen de casi todo, computadoras que escriben por ti, ¡si! como lo ves, tantas cosas curiosas por ver y descubrir, pero también hemos pasado por grandes momentos buenos y malos, en medio de nuestra "evolución".

Aunque te cuento, que grandes descubrimientos se han hecho, pero aun la humanidad en muchos casos persisten en su auto destrucción, muchos no cuidamos de nuestros medios ambientes y mucho menos de la flora o la fauna, creemos que seremos eternos, cuando en realidad, no lo somos. Tu lo sabes mi querida, ¿Quién mas, si no tu, lo puede afirmar? entre otros tantos que también tuvieron en tu suplicio.

Otros tantos persisten en guerras eternas, que muchos ya no sabemos ni el por que de tanto odio. Apuesto que tu estarías de acuerdo conmigo, en que nada de estas cosas llevan a nada bueno, ni para las personas o familias, mucho menos para nuestro mundo, ni para las vidas de ninguno, pero aun como que no lo entienden.

Pensarías que tantas perdidas humanas, que acontecieron en tu tiempo, (segunda guerra mundial), habrían valido para algo, si la humanidad hubiese aprendido de tantas desgracias, pero como que muchos no aprendemos de nuestra historia y persistimos en seguir dañándonos. Pero afortunadamente también te puedo decir, que a muchos nos han servido tus memorias.

A manera de reflexión, para saber valorar lo que tenemos, la familia, los amigos, la comida, nuestros hogares y nuestros espacios, esos pequeños detalles que los damos por hecho como un buen baño o una rica de taza de chocolate, ¡Gracias Ana Frank! por mostrarnos que la vida es bella a pesar de sus matices oscuros.

I have always liked to know about people, their cultures, their traditions, cultures and origins, especially to know what happened during your days, since it was a very black time for humanity, because of so many lost souls, why was it so terrible, what happened to the human being during those years? I still have many unanswered questions, but you helped me with many of them.

I learned about your terrible family history, which you left perpetuated in your personal diary. I can't imagine so many shortcomings, so much fear and anguish, if it wasn't that you described them in the best way you could, I would say, almost with your fingernails. There came a moment when I felt I was in your shoes.

I could feel how you were losing your hopes, your dreams in many occasions, in which your confinement was suffocating, but nevertheless, I can only admire the way you faced that world of adults that you had to live in when you were just a child, entering that place of "prison" at your puberty.

That age that in itself is so difficult, having to face it in the middle of 4 walls and surrounded mostly by adults, it must not have been easy for you, my remembered Anne Frank, having to spend your first youthful illusions, without friends of your age, without going out to parks or squares, without being able to share a walk at least, with that beautiful boy that you described with so much illusion.

Oh my dear Ana, if you could see what the world has become, in a total frenzy in many ways, a technology that you can't even imagine, smart phones that do almost everything, computers that write for you, yes! as you can see, so many curious things to see and discover, but we have also gone through great good and bad times, in the midst of our "evolution".

Although I tell you, that great discoveries have been made, but even humanity in many cases persist in their self-destruction, many do not take care of our environment and much less of the flora or fauna, we believe that we will be eternal, when in reality, we are not. You know it my dear, who else if not you, can affirm it? among many others that also had in your ordeal.

So many others persist in eternal wars, that many of us no longer even know the reason for so much hatred. I bet you would agree with me that none of these things lead to anything good, neither for individuals or families, much less for our world, nor for the lives of anyone, but you still don't understand it.

You would think that so many human losses, that happened in your time, (second world war), would have been worth something, if humanity had learned from so many misfortunes, but as many do not learn from our history and persist in continuing to harm us. But fortunately I can also tell you that your memories have been useful to many of us.

As a reflection, to know how to value what we have, family, friends, food, our homes and our spaces, those small details that we take for granted as a good bath or a nice cup of chocolate, Thank you Anne Frank! for showing us that life is beautiful despite its dark shades.
