Coyotes Attack! This is a lucky dog.

This is my moms dog Marshall. He is a rescue animal who was extremely skiddish and un trusting of people in General, other than my mom. Marshall has cone a long way and he knows who his family is now but just as things get better in life....they get worse.

My parents live in a very wooded and animal friendly area. Lots of tress and water usually equal lots of wildlife. He was attacked by a coyote and ended up having surgery and several stitches. Poor Dog ....but he sure is a tough little sucker for such a little guy.

Holy shit, he survived. That’s a miracle. Small dogs like that don’t stand a chance against coyotes usually. Must have only been one instead of multiple. That dog is a warrior! Get well soon Marshall 🐾

I am glad the poor dog survived the attack. If it can get over the nightmare, it will be all right. Dogs are quite resilient. They bounce back quickly. They don't let handicaps hold them back.

The other day as I was hanging out in a city park I heard a enormous pack ripped apart somebody's pet. The pet was able to put up quite a fight however with massive numbers it wasn't a matter of time until it fell.

I couldn't even tell whether it was a cat or dog over the huge numbers of coyotes working on getting a piece.

The population of coyotes has exploded to overwhelming numbers recently with a huge lack of population control.

Really glad your puppy dog is okay and I always stress that removal of these at long range and continued work to keep them from populated areas.

I was nearly pulled down by a pack of coyotes. They caught me in some tight brush. That was the beginning of quite a very long day.

Also remember seeing that a young female jogger in a Toronto City Park was pulled down and ripped apart by a pack.

Coyotes can and will pick you off. They will start with smaller and weaker however, they definitely do not like to go hungry.

If you ever have to deal with them but you're back against something and protect your hamstrings as well as Achilles tendon. A couple of bites to those and you are on the ground.

Marshall looks little scared of human but once your mom will pamper and feed him healthy diet ,surely he will recover soon and never be rescued again in his life since he will become SuperDog .
A big clap to your Mom too who really helped these kind of helpless dog .🙂

Dear Friend @broncnutz , in each we have Cookie, our great friend dog, even on some occasions she accompanies me doing yoga, good that the poor little dog has survived the merciless attack, I hope she is well. the dogs are quite handsome and recover. Coyotes, according to the history, many times walk in herds and are more dangerous, a bite from such a ferocious animal must be dangerous, you also be careful. Hugs

One tough little guy. We've got coyotes in this area as well. I'm surprised Marshal escaped with his life. When hunting in packs, larger animals including whitetail deer usually don't stand a chance.

P.S. I miss your weekly posts on the Denver Broncos. They're having a better season than expected and they have an outside chance of making it to the playoffs.
Some of the posts about your beloved team were hilarious.
I hope all is well.
Enjoy the holidays!

Dear friend @broncnutz , as follows the puppy Marshall, I remembered you, because precisely today our little expert, Cookie, was attacked by a large dog in our urbanization in Puerto Ordaz, Bolívar state, Venezuela. My regards, brother.

Yes!

An underdog of sorts! Awesome to see rescue dogs finding their forever home and making progress to get back to a happy and calm life. Not that a coyote attack would help with that.

Whatever doesn't kill the little dood will make him stronger. Perhaps meaner too! ;)
