REUNITED WITH OUR DOGS , AND IT FEELS SOOO GOOD !

He heard my voice and jumped the wooden door if the facility.
Let’s begin at the beginning:
Its always nice to go away on a holiday, but a downside you always have to leave your furry friends behind.
We had years that family or friends came to our home to take care of them, and this year the oldest kids were home but not capable to give the care needed. The care and going to doggie day care was this year a bit different that it was in earlier years. The fact that our oldest furry friend and Gordon setter Charlie is sick. He is diagnosed with cancer and is on medication.

I was very hesitant to go away and untill two days before we left to go visit my parents in Italy.

The vet would decide if he was able to travel it that the dogcare was the best place for him this summer.

We went to the vet and he said that the warm weather and the at least 11 hours travel to italy , was not the best option. If the dogcare could give him the nesseccary meds, this was better and we did that. They are used to the dogcare because they have been going there ever since they were young dogs.

We got them from the dogcare today and it was so good to see he did well. So did Joey but he is younger and not ill. That they always go together helps aswell. And besides the fact that he was resting a bit more than normal, he did great.

We called twice from Italy, and also made the agreement that if something was wrong they would call our own vet to see him and us, to always have a say in what is needed for our furry child.

Now they are both home, have eaten and got a big bath. They are glad we’re are back and we are glad that they are home aswell.

The dogcare is a great place but there is no place like home!

The july and august months in the dog daycare are full. But the care is good. They both with all other dogs can wonder around free and at night have a kennel for themselves together.

I love to see all the dogs Where from the furry parents are also on holiday. They all go well together as a new pack. And the personell is always around to see if all is well.

All went well but I am glad to be reunited !
