Nursery for orchids and others in the bathroom window for humidity
I cut some plants to create new plants. It often doesn't work than it does, but I like to try. So here you see the re-vivers.
Well try-to-revivers!
I use new soil, plant feed and humus.
I use my picture this app (available in the App Store) and I have blogged more about it, I sometimes use it to get more information about what a plant has or needs to be able to continue living.
And yes I place them in the bathroom in the beginning and water the plants there and the orchid het a ice-cube per week.
In many of the orchids from the shops, the roots are so bottled up in the plastic pot that it doesn't do well, like two of the orchids here in the photos. So I use new. For these it hasn’t worked yet.
And the little leaves here have new roots because I kept them in water for a few weeks and I now can put it in fresh soil.
Hopefully it will grow out to a new plant for the living room. Although that will take a long time.
Ofcourse this is the last chance and maybe all the effort will be for nothing. But it's also nice when the orchids get new buds. freakin' is blooming again. Half of it works, the other half I throw in the trash after a month. But not without all the plant love it took. Just because it's possible.
I have some cacti and we also have some succulent cuttings. Not the prettiest I know.
Peel pine cones and put the chips in the pot and a top tip is to use rainwater. Rainwater contains little lime and chlorine, which is better than tap water.
Well in the Netherlands no problem! In this season we have rain at least 4 times a week. So a bucket in the garden and you have enough for the weeks watering.
This is the least time I spend on something in our household. Last but not least I will add some more pictures when they are all together.
The plastic pots will be stone ones when they survive that is also not yet said.
Here is one that made it and got many new knobs in the top. There will be more I guess but this one is ready to move back to the window downstairs soon.
From my nursery to yours. Have a green house weekend and enjoy hive.
its appreciated and remember always focus on being creative
instead of being bee-zy.

.I didn't know humus can be used in the soil, is it only for reviving? Or is it good to be used always for all kinds of plants?
ITS FOR RIVIVING
Hola, amiga noto que eres una mujer de valor muy dedicada al trabajo me agrada tus presentacion , Dios te bendiga.
I have never seen orchids in real life but i do hear they are beautiful. Also, do black orchids exist?
They sure do , i had blue ones too. In the morning i will send a picture from the peach ones i have
Please do. I'd be looking forward to it
Wonderful to see how they grow!
I better try and save the shriveled Orchid living at my work place. I don't think any of the staff knows how to care for it and we haven't seen a flower on it for over a year.
Step One; I must find a space in my cluttered home. They we'll go from there.
Step Two; Get Permission to adopt the plant!
I loved your seedlings. They are beautiful. I am in the habit of giving plants as gifts, I like to see people's expression of joy when they receive a living plant. This gift creates a bond with people.
Best regards my dear.
