Hive is not a security

I decided to scroll some crypto news headlines and came across this article that peaked my interest.

SEC Chair Reasserts Every Crypto is a Security Aside From Bitcoin, Lawyers Disagree

And one paragraph made me write my title.

“There are people behind these cryptocurrencies using a variety of complex and legally opaque mechanisms, but at the most basic level, they are trying to promote their tokens and entice investors.”

So I can surmise, deduct, that seeing Hive is truly decentralized and no one person is trying entice investors to buy Hive tokens to pocket the money then it is not a security.

We are exactly the opposite. If anything we, each and every Hive member, owner, is trying to lure people to Hive. So that they can start from zero and earn with their brain. Pob.

I don't ask Sally to come to Hive and buy 50,000 Hive from me. I ask Sally to join Hive because I think it would be good for her and the ecosystem.

And after reading Hive is set to begin stage one of its first hive borehole in Ghana. by @mcsamm how many other crypto projects are having this type of real world awesomeness.

None that I know of.

With 100 plus nodes around the world we are in good shape. As a decentralized chain. Could authorities shut down Hive? Maybe. It would take a lot of work and cooperation from a lot of countries. I will feel better once we get into thousands of nodes running worldwide.

I am Alive and Thriving.

I disagree but we all know that the SEC wants to label them as security because they want more control. It just doesn't make sense.
