EcoHealth Alliance Conducted Risky Experiments on MERS Virus in China
"description of an experiment the EcoHealth Alliance conducted involving infectious clones of MERS-CoV, the virus that caused a deadly outbreak of Middle East respiratory syndrome in 2012. MERS has a case-fatality rate as high as 35 percent, much higher than Covid-19’s. --- The plot thickens. Still not clear whether EcoHealth Alliance together with the Wuhan Institute of Virology actually created SARS-CoV2, but the experiments they did &/or planned point in that direction. What is clear, though: EcoHealth Alliance is absolutely not trustworthy:
"The Intercept previously asked EcoHealth Alliance about work on MERS-CoV referenced in sections of the grant that NIH released in September. At the time, EcoHealth spokesperson Robert Kessler insisted that the group had not conducted the work. “The MERS work proposed in the grant is suggested as an alternative and was not undertaken,”

Biden says US will defend Taiwan if China attacks
"He was then queried a second time by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper if the US would come to Taiwan's defence in the event of an attack by China. Mr Biden replied: "Yes, we have a commitment to do that."

--- Wie üblich darf man Biden - ähnlich Trump - nicht beim Wort nehmen, wenn er frei redet. Der Mann ist halb-senil. Immerhin bringt die Tagesschau auch die darauffolgende Erklärung des Weißen Hauses:

Was nicht heißen soll, daß die USA im Falle einer chinesischen Invasion Taiwans nicht eingreifen würden. Aber die offizielle Politik bleibt, wie sie war.
