First of all thank you for taking the time to share. Second, I think that now that we have access to almost all the music that exists, the collecting part is a little different now, and even those who collect music I consider to be much more selective, so not collecting music is not that important. now as it was before, when it was almost your only way to access a lot of music.

On the other hand, I think that like me, and many others, you have one foot in both categories, and when that happens sometimes it is very evident which is the dominant one and in others not so much. I too, if I could, I would buy some excellent (and expensive) audio equipment, but I would not go to the extreme of collecting audio equipment and speakers as many audiophiles do.

The important thing is to be aware that we are part of that rare species that is passionate about music and high quality sound, and to find a way, according to our possibilities, to embrace that part of our nature, sometimes incomprehensible to others.

It has been a pleasure to read you. Greetings from Mexico!

The older I get to more I fell we are rare. I know so few peeps that find all of this so important. Fortunately I have some musicians in my circle of friends (as well as music fans like myself) who I share this passion with.
