When Silence Broke.

Once the alarm was raised, stealth collapsed into raw survival. WLF soldiers rushed in with shotguns and rifles. I had to try fast kills, close combat, and careful ammo management. After clearing the area floor by floor, I finally secured the boat and escaped through the flooded streets.

After that lady alerted the entire camp, things got loud fast. A WLF soldier armed with a shotgun charged my position, and I had to act within a split second to shoot him down before he could blast me. The stealth approach was officially a memory, and it was now a fight for survival.

I took down another soldier nearby, but the area was still crawling with enemies. As I moved in to scavenge for ammo from the fallen guard, another soldier intercepted me. I had to drop him immediately before I could even grab the supplies I desperately needed.

I spotted another guard positioned quite far away, likely trying to flank me or find a better vantage point. I pulled out my sniper rifle and, with a steady hand, took him out, ensuring I wouldn't have to worry about long-range fire for a moment.

The remaining WLF soldiers were screaming out, clearly determined to take me down at any cost. One of them came charging straight at me. Instead of wasting a bullet, I sprinted directly toward him and met him head-on, taking him down in a brutal melee with my axe.

Another soldier carrying a rifle tried to close the gap. I moved in fast, stabbed him with my axe before delivering a heavy kick that sent him crashing to the floor. I made sure he stayed down for good before looking for the next threat.

The last soldier was positioned near the boat, unaware that I had climbed to a higher floor. I used the advantage to line up one final shot with my sniper rifle, clearing the path to the water.

After doing a quick sweep of the area for any remaining loot, I finally made my move for the boat. I leaped off the high floor, landing right on the deck. After all that fighting, it was a relief to finally reach my objective.

I didn't think the boat would start up so easily, but the engine roared to life. I finally had a new ride to navigate the flooded streets, and I set my sights on the distant Ferris wheel, hoping it would lead me closer to my ultimate destination.

Taking out the sniper-range guard early sounds like the smartest play. It's the long-distance shots you don't see coming that usually end a run, so clearing that flank was essential.
Exactly, leaving a sniper up is just asking for trouble that I didn't think worth risking.
