The Stalker Ambush at 13031.
Exploring Suite 13031, Ellie and I discovered mutilated bodies and a dark room. Stalkers ambush from windows and vents; frantic headshots, knife kills, and tense reloads followed. Cornered by multiple stalkers, we fight through chaos and barely escaped deeper into the building.
After getting into Suite 13031, I found this dead body in a dark room. It looked like she had a horrible death. Ellie guessed she had been attacked by a wolf or a pack of wolves.
I was running back and suddenly saw something moving away. Damn, that moment scared me for real. I stopped there for a moment, and then I walked ahead with my handgun ready, and I found one more dead body right beside the washroom.
I was being too careful there because I knew something would suddenly jump on me. I found another dead body on my way. All these people had arms, but they couldn't fight the monsters back.
I found an open window above that I used to jump without knowing what was waiting for me on the other side.
Right after I landed on the other side, I noticed a bunch of stalkers were eating up a dead body there in the dark. I shot at them, but all of them escaped and hid, noticing me.
Not just me, Ellie was scared as well, and she was only talking about finding a way out of there, though I was ready to fight off the stalkers.
I tried the opposite side of the one those stalkers ran off to, and I noticed one of them was stalking me from afar. I killed that one with a headshot.
I was moving ahead, and this one ran towards me from out of nowhere. I shot at it and had to reload.
I shot it down hardly.
Then this one came from the same route, and I had to reload the gun again, but this one was fast, so I had to try dodging its attacks as well.
I took some damage, but then I slit its throat using the knife, as I still needed time to reload my gun.
I was walking ahead, and when I was about to go through that hole, I saw a stalker right there, so I shot it down.
The scariest part took place after I went through that hole, as about 3/4 stalkers were waiting for me, and they started attacking me. I started escaping from them so they don't get to take me down instantly.

Wow, your tension build-up in Suite 13031 is intense. I felt the fear through your writing. I could almost hear the reloading and footsteps. I hope you survived them at last.
Every reload felt like a gamble for survival and yeah, I survived.
The tension in dark rooms like that really hits different in The Last of Us and reloading mid-fight against those monsters is always terrifying, but you handled it well.
Yeah, the game makes even simple fights feel like life or death.
That moment you saw movement in the dark must have been terrifying, I felt it reading this. I can also feel the chaos of fighting multiple stalkers from your description.
Yeah, that first movement in the shadows hit like a jumpscare and its not the first time such terrifying moments surprised me in this game.

Nice headshot on the stalker that was spying from afar, he totally deserved it. The part where they ambushed you after the hole was intense, I just hope they didn't catch you afterwards. This part of the game has real horror vibes and I'm looking forward to the next post.
