The Visual Monomad Photographic Challenge My Entry #138 - Fishermen repairing their nets
Hello Hiver..
Today I'm back in the black and white photography challenge hosted by an extraordinary community. This post is also my 138th entry. This time I will share some visuals about fishermen repairing their nets that were damaged by coral reefs while fishing in the sea.
As usual, I always ask permission first before photographing fishing activities. After I get permission. I also started photographing fishing activities in the area. As we know, along with the development of today's technology. However, the fishermen here are reluctant to use sophisticated technological tools to catch fish. However, fishermen in Aceh still use traditional fishing gear. And the fishing gear has become a special rule for the fishermen there. It is not allowed to use advanced technology tools.
Well, the goal of fishermen in Aceh is not to use sophisticated technological tools as we know today. In addition, this is to prevent damage to the marine ecosystem and care about environmental damage.
As you can see in some of the pictures I share here. Two fishermen are mending their nets. In addition, also seen a small child playing there. The little boy is the son of one of the fishermen who repaired his net which was damaged by the waves of the sea and was torn off by the coral reefs in the sea.
Alright, that's my post on this occasion and enjoy my visual entry today. Hope you guys like it.
