Start over button, what you do with it?

"Reset" button, a concept simply linked to correcting "mistakes" and changes in events that happen within our lives. This is something that many people think of as a way out of situations in their life that may be significant to them and that they would like to modify to get different results, however it is more complicated than just that.

In this occasion, I am going to talk about what I would do if I had a reset button in my hands, I will give a brief overview of why I would perform the mentioned action and I will explain what my goals are with this.

Let's start.

Botón de "Reinicio", un concepto simplemente vinculado a la corrección de "errores" y cambios en los eventos que suceden dentro de nuestras vidas. Esto es algo que piensan muchas personas como una salida a situaciones en su vida que puede ser significativas para ellos y que quisieran modificar para obtener resultados diferentes, sin embargo esto es más complicado que simplemente eso.

En esta ocasión, voy a hablarles sobre que haría si tuviera un botón de reinicio en mis manos, daré una breve reseña de porque realizaría dicha acción mencionada y explicaré cuales son mis objetivos con esto.

On multiple occasions we think that it would be excellent to have the ability to turn back time to be able to do certain things in other existing ways. Personally, I have had this kind of thoughts in order to solve certain things or change certain events that I feel could have been otherwise.

Many years ago, I made a bad love decision and it is one of the decisions that I regretted the most at the time. At the time, I started a relationship with a person that I feel did not correspond to me and did not have similar things, we simply let ourselves be carried away by the carnal and proceeded to make a decision without a basis.

With that person I lived many situations that I feel that made me waste my time, many sad situations, stressful and events that I consider not necessary for my life. The truth is that today I consider that this process was necessary for me, I grew a lot as a person and I would not be the same as I am today if that had not happened.

En múltiples ocasiones pensamos que sería excelente tener la capacidad de devolver el tiempo para poder hacer ciertas cosas de otras formas existentes. En lo personal, yo he tenido este tipo de pensamientos con el objetivo de solucionar ciertas cosas o cambiar ciertos hechos que siento que pudieron ser de otra forma.

Hace muchos años, tomé una mala decisión de tipo amorosa y es una de las decisiones que en su momento más me arrepentí por tomar. En su momento, inicié una relación con una persona que siento no me correspondía y no tenía cosas similares, simplemente nos dejamos llevar por lo carnal y procedimos a tomar una decisión sin una base.

Con esa persona viví muchas situaciones que siento que me hicieron perder el tiempo, muchas situaciones tristes, estresantes y sucesos que considero no necesarios para mi vida. Lo cierto es que hoy en día considero que ese proceso fue necesario para mí, crecí muchísimo como persona y no sería el mismo que soy hoy si eso no hubiera pasado.

The truth is that after changing my point of view I could understand that it made me grow a lot and corresponds to an experience that I would not change in my life and after all, not everything that happened was bad, many beautiful things happened in the process.

Thanks to that person and that experience I now know what I really want and need in a relationship, what I can expect from a person and above all what things I feel are best for me.

To answer the question, what would I do with a reset button, nothing really. I feel that I have lived a totally necessary process in my life and because of that I have grown as a person and I am who I am.

Every day, process and situation has its lessons, if I had to start over without knowing what decisions I made I would probably make the same decisions I made at the beginning. Therefore, it all comes down to the level of knowledge one has about life.

Lo cierto es que después de cambiar mi punto de vista pude comprender que eso me hizo crecer mucho y corresponde a una experiencia que no cambiaría en mi vida y después de todo, no todo lo que pasó fue malo, pasaron muchas cosas bonitas en el proceso.

Gracias a esa persona y a esa experiencia ahora sé que es lo que realmente quiero y necesito en una relación, que puedo esperar de una persona y sobre todo que cosas siento que son mejores para mí.

Para dar respuesta a la pregunta, ¿Qué haría con un botón de reinicio? realmente nada. Siento que he vivido un proceso totalmente necesario en mi vida y por ello he crecido como persona y soy quien soy.

Todos los días, procesos y situaciones tienen sus enseñanzas, si tuviera que iniciar de nuevo sin saber que decisiones tomé probablemente tomaría las mismas decisiones que al inicio. Por ello, todo recae en el nivel de conocimiento que uno tenga sobre la vida.
