Hot vs Cold
Hot or cold, a decision we've all had to make at one point in our lives, from drinks and/or food to certain places that have the degree of heat we want in something. This is the moment in which I tell you my preference on this subject.
For this occasion I am going to tell you about my preference with respect to heat or cold, what I prefer with respect to these two options in different aspects and why I have made these decisions with respect to these topics.
Let's start.
Caliente contra frio
Calor o frío, una decisión que todos hemos tenido que tomar en un momento de nuestras vidas, desde bebidas y/o comidas hasta ciertos lugares que disponen del grado de calor que queremos en algo. Este es en el momento en el que cuento mi preferencia en este tema.
Para esta ocasión voy a indicarles de mi preferencia con respecto al calor o el frío, que prefiero con respecto a estas dos opciones en diferentes aspectos y porque he tomado estas decisiones con respectos a estos temas.
Comenzamos.
To begin with, it is good to start off on the right foot and make several clarifications about the concepts of heat and cold. Heat corresponds to the increase of temperature in a body and cold is nothing more than an absence of heat in that body or element, which is why both concepts are very distant.
Having made this clarification we can move on more clearly to indicate what my preference is. From a very early age, I have always preferred warmth over cold in almost all aspects, food, beverages and room temperature. This is because I have always preferred soothing drinks such as hot chocolate over soft drinks or cold drinks, I think that hot food is also better, preferring a hot hamburger to a cold ice cream to give an example.
Even though hot and cold food tastes very different (as I think they are different panoramas) my taste sensation when eating hot food is much greater. Likewise, I prefer hot climates over cold ones, as I enjoy the sensation of the hot sun on my forehead much more than being surrounded by a very predominant absence of heat.
Para iniciar, es bueno iniciar con buen pie y hacer varias aclaraciones sobre los conceptos de calor y frío. El calor corresponde al aumento de la temperatura en un cuerpo y el frío no es más que una ausencia de calor en dicho cuerpo o elemento, es por ello que ambos conceptos son muy distantes.
Habiendo realizado esta aclaración podemos pasar de forma más clara a indicar cuál es mi preferencia. Desde muy temprana edad, siempre he preferido el calor sobre el frío en casi todos los aspectos, comidas, bebidas y temperatura de ambiente. Esto porque siempre he preferido bebidas relajantes como chocolate caliente sobre refrescos o bebidas frías, pienso que la comida caliente también es mejor, prefiriendo una hamburguesa bien caliente a un helado bien frío por dar un ejemplo.
A pesar de que la comida fría y caliente sabe muy diferente (pues pienso que son panoramas diferentes) mi sensación de gusto al ingerir la comida caliente es mucho más grande. De igual forma, prefiero los climas calientes sobre los fríos, ya que disfruto muchísimo más la sensación del sol caliente sobre mi frente que estar rodeado por una ausencia de calor muy predominante.
That's why I'm such a beach lover, because the excess heat is lost by cooling yourself with the beach water. It feels very relaxing to be in hot environments and cool off with some lemonade and yes, cold lemonade goes quite well at a time like this.
Both options are perfect for specific moments, which is why we all opt for hot options and at other times for cold options. That depends on the precise moment and many variants that can determine what we prefer at the moment.
We have all gone through that moment when a hot chocolate or a hot drink is the solution to all our problems, as well as moments when we want to eat some ice cream, that is why I think that everything has its moment despite preference.
Es por ello que soy tan amante a las playas, ya que el exceso de calor se pierde al refrescarse uno mismo con el agua de la playa. Se siente muy relajante estar en ambientes calientes y refrescarse tomándose alguna limonada y si, la limonada fría cae bastante bien en un momento como este.
Ambas opciones son perfectas para momentos específicos, es por ello que todos optamos por opciones calientes y en otros momentos por opciones frías. Eso depende del momento preciso y de muchas variantes que pueden determinar qué es lo que preferimos en el momento.
Todos hemos pasado por ese momento en el que un chocolate caliente o alguna bebida caliente nos resulta como la solución a todos nuestros problemas, como también momentos en los que queremos comer un poco de helado, es por ello que pienso que todo tiene su momento a pesar de preferencia.
