My outfit to attend a formal university event 👗💜 [ESP-ENG]

Yesterday was a very nice day, it was the celebration of the closing of the module at the University and for it took place a very formal event or dinner, so after thinking about it a little I decided to share here what was the outfit I chose for this night. Hello friends of @hiveredcarpet I hope you are feeling great and that your week is moving forward with the best energy. Now, let's get to what we came for.

As I said before the theme of the event was formal, so women could wear cocktail dresses below the knee or long dresses, men in turn, had to wear a suit with a jacket and tie or bow tie. After being undecided between a royal blue dress with stones or a multiform lilac dress (that is, I could give it the look I wanted) I opted for the second option that going into details the fabric was lycra type so it was very comfortable and the color I must say, I loved it. Now the only thing missing was the most complicated part: what shape was I going to give it?

Talking with a college classmate we realized that we both had the same dress, only that hers was pink and mine was lilac, but as this is not really a problem for me we only agreed on how each of us would wear it, she chose to wear it with one shoulder and I decided to wear it with two straps, crossed in front (as if it were a sash) and with the back uncovered. So, point solved.

As before an important event or meeting there are always points to resolve or something always happens, in this case was no exception hahaha. I already had my dress, make-up and hair sorted out (these last two were already solved in my mind) now, the only thing missing were the shoes. To be honest, I hadn't attended a wedding, quinceañera or simply a formal event like this for years, so I didn't have shoes for the occasion, only some orange ones that I really felt it wasn't the right time to wear so there was only one option, lend them or buy them; as the first option is always a little complicated because my size doesn't match with my friends I had to opt for the second option, buy them.

I was going with the mentality of a gold or nude color but as I said before, very few get my size, in the end I ended up getting these in rose gold tone that I found beautiful and the heel I love since I'm not much of stilettos.

For the hair I opted for loose waves and for the makeup I chose a lilac with brown tones and blurred eyeliner, I had a long time without makeup and I wanted this night to be something different and cute, I liked the result quite a lot. And well, you can see the result of the whole set in the photos, I liked it a lot; I feel it was something quite simple but very nice. I hope you liked it ❤️

Ayer fue un día muy bonito, fue la celebración del cierre de modulo en la Universidad y para ello se llevo a cabo un evento o cena bastante formal, así que luego de pensarlo un poco decidí compartir por aquí cual fue el outfit que escogí para esta noche. Hola amigos de @hiveredcarpet espero se encuentren super bien y que su semana este avanzando con las mejores energías. Ahora sí, a lo que vinimos.

Como dije anteriormente el tema del evento era formal, por lo que las mujeres podíamos llevar vestidos de coctel por debajo de la rodilla o vestidos largos, los hombres a su vez, debían llevar traje con saco y corbata o corbatín. Luego de estar indecisa entre un vestido azul rey con piedras o uno de color lila multiformas (Es decir, que le podía dar el look que yo quisiera) opté por la segunda opción que entrando en detalles la tela era tipo licra por lo que era muy cómodo y el color debo decir, me encantó. Ahora solo faltaba lo más complicado. ¿Qué forma le iba a dar?

Hablando con una compañera de la Universidad caímos en cuenta de que ambas teníamos el mismo vestido, solo que el de ella era rosado y el mío lila, pero como realmente esto para mí no es un problema solo quedamos en como lo llevaría cada una, ella optó por llevarlo de un solo hombro y yo en cambio decidí que lo llevaría de dos tiras, cruzado adelante (Como si fuese un fajón) y con la espalda descubierta. Así que, punto resuelto.

Como antes de un evento o reunión importante siempre hay puntos que resolver o siempre sucede algo, en este caso no fue la excepción jajaja. Ya tenía vestido, maquillaje y cabello resuelto (Estos dos últimos ya estaban resueltos en mi mente) ahora, solo faltaban los zapatos. Si les soy sincera, tenía años pero de verdad años que no asistía a una boda, quinceañero o simplemente un evento así de formal, por lo que no tenía zapatos para la ocasión, solamente unos anaranjados que realmente siento no era el momento para usar por lo que solo quedaba una opción, prestarlos o comprarlos; como la primera opción siempre es un poco complicada debido a que mi talla muy poco concuerda con mis amistades me toco optar por la segunda opción, comprarlos.

Iba con la mentalidad de unos color dorados o nude pero como les dije antes, muy poco se consigue mi talla, al final terminé consiguiendo estos en tono oro rosa que me parecieron hermosos y el tacón me encanto ya que no soy mucho de tacones tipo aguja.

Para el cabello opte por unas ondas sueltas y para el maquillaje uno en tonos lila con café y delineado difuminado, tenía muchísimo rato sin maquillarme y quería que esta noche fuese algo diferente y lindo, el resultado me gustó bastante. Y bueno, el resultado de todo el conjunto lo pueden ver en las fotos, a mí me gustó bastante; siento que fue algo bastante sencillo pero muy lindo. Espero les haya gustado ❤️
