Minimum Expected Return for a Steem Engine Porrtfolio

I want to run a semi educated virtual portfolio of SE tokens.
I will select and HODL a limited number of interesting tokens and see how it works out.

What should be the minimum performance hurdle per year before considering it a failed experiment?

One should at least be trying for at 3% but thats a low. I would say 10%, but I also wouldn't say 3% is failing.

It is not meant as worst case but a minimum hurdle to beat.
I'm taking your answer as 10% then? :)

You need to stake more BEER (6 staked BEER allows you to call BEER one time per day)

I think it was a great experiment and the experience itself worth worth the few buck I put in. Most of my STEEM-Engine portfolio is what I earned or got airdropped.

Agree. But I'm trying to build a paper portfolio to hodl and see where it takes me. Just for fun.
Now what would your minimum hurdle, not worst case, be?
