BIKINI MONDAY: My Latest Project
Hello Hive and fellow needleworkers. I’m excited to be in this beautiful new week with you all. I wish you a wonderful week ahead. Today, I will be sharing a quick project I made over the weekend.
I do not make a lot of bikinis, you could say I would rather wear shorts than bikinis. Since I started crocheting I have only made one bikini for myself and one other for a client. This weekend I was going to make a short but instead, I decided to go in a bikini. I may not wear it soon but it will come in handy one day (I hope).
So for this bikini bottom, I decided to do a little something different than the ones I have done in the past. I worked this whole project with double crochet stitches, I started by making a chain that is 3inches wide and did regular double crochet for the next 3 rows, then started my increases.
Usually, I would continue the increase on every row till I get my desired length, however, for this project I stopped increasing after the 12th row and started decreasing on the 13th row. I continued the decrease till I got my desired length. Then, I attached my yarn on the side where the decrease started and worked with regular double crochet but also decreasing on every row till I had 1 stitch left and I just made my strap with that one stitch.
I did this same thing on the other side and also the back of the bikini bottom. For my bra, I did regular bra cups but made some love to add to the upper part of the bra cup, and I was done with the project.
I think it's simple yet nice to wear for a cool day at the beach/pool. What do you think?

The people doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved deeply with her group and @fyrstikken . Her discord is Battleaxe#1003. I cant prove she is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing it. I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? Just like they did and are doing with the Havana Syndrome.
They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years.
What would you say while having a gun pointed at your head from an undisclosed location? Have people find it? My hands are tied while they play like children with a gun to my head. Its a terrorist act on American soil while some yawn and say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic threat. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. Once again I have to admire your work? Ok I'll do it. I love it 😃. I have a question regarding this: how do you know how many points are needed to complete the necessary form? I mean that to make an intimate garment, I first draw it on paper and then cut out the fabric, but in crochet, what pattern do you follow to know the necessary measurement? Or is it something that they realize while doing it? That's what fascinates me about weaving, so many things can be done 💛.

I think different people have different approaches. For me, I don't use a pattern or draw. I just imagine how I want it to be and give a rough estimate in my head. Sometimes I take measurements on my body when I need it to be specific. I guess I get lucky cause it always fits.
An absolutely lovely bikini and I can also envision the bra with a dark blue jeans. I think the mix of brown and yellow itch a darker blue would look lovely. Per chance I saw a new show on Netflix where people dated without seeing one another and several of the woman had crochet tops and swimsuits. So you are totally in trend 😍
You're right, the bra would go pretty well with dark blue jeans. I can imagine myself wearing that.

I guess I can credit some of that to my sewing skills. Maybe that's why getting the measurements come easy for me, it's not certain though.

Actually at first, I thought this was a baby doll until I looked closely enough and I remember you do this ... I can knit a cap lol but that was in secondary school precisely a government school those days everyone is always holding the knitting needle and wool!
But advancing to this nahh! I stopped in only cap and bag!
