Loyati asked of you this afternoon, "Where were you when she came?" and Busi replied, "I was at my friend's place, doing my school assignment. Has she gone ?" Ebenu replied, "No, she said she will be back in the evening. She was desperate to see you, as if she had a special gift for you." Busi responded, "What do you mean?" Ebenu explained, "When she came into the house, she was in a hurry, as if she had a premonition that you may not be around." Busi asked, "Did she have something for me?" and Ebenu answered, "No, but she was desperate to see you. When she was leaving, she said she had a big package for you."

After two hours, Loyati called Ebenu on the phone and asked, "Is Busi back?" Ebenu replied, "Yes, she is with me here." Loyati said, "Please give her the phone," and Ebenu handed the phone to Busi. Busi said, "Oh, Aunty Loyati, I heard that you visited me." Loyati replied, "Yes, I have come from Europe, and I have packages for you, including your special phone. I will give them to you tomorrow." Busi exclaimed with joy, "Thank you a million times, lovely aunty. I am eagerly waiting for you, ma."

The next day, around 5 pm, Loyati arrived at Busi's house. As soon as she knocked, Busi opened the door with happiness, for she knew it was Loyati. She shouted, "Aunty Loyati, you are welcome! Have a seat."

Busi was so excited that she was thrilled by every single word and action of Loyati. Then Loyati gave her the gifts she brought, including the phone and Italian clothes. Afterward, Loyati asked, "Busi, when are your final exams?" Busi answered, "In June this year." Loyati said, "Busi, I would love to host you in my house on Sunday."

On Sunday, Busi visited Loyati, and that was her second visit to her house. She had never lived in such a beautiful house before. Timidly, she knocked on the gate. The gate man answered, "Who is there?" She replied with excitement, "It's Busi knocking," and the gate man responded, "Busi madam has been waiting for you since morning." Then he opened the gate for her and led her to meet Loyati.

As she entered and met Loyati, Loyati was excited, and Busi was glad. They sat down, and Busi was entertained like a princess.

Later, Loyati asked Busi, "Would you like to go to Europe after your secondary education?" Busi answered with overwhelming excitement, "I would love to! I can't wait to travel by airplane to study abroad." She jumped up and said, "Aunty, so an orphan like me will go to Europe? God will bless you for me." Loyati smiled at her and said, "That is my girl. I love you because you love good things."

A year later, Busi completed secondary school, and Loyati came back to Nigeria and invited Busi. When Busi arrived, she met some young girls who were also being taken care of by Loyati, and they were promised that they would travel to Europe the next month.

Loyati promised Busi that she would go to Europe to study nursing, fulfilling Busi's dream career. One month later, the girls traveled to Lagos and were accommodated in a big apartment. Loyati came and welcomed them.

After six days in Lagos, Busi woke up in the middle of the night and heard some noise. She decided to investigate and overheard Loyati making a call with one Madam Cash with excitement. Loyati had put her phone on speaker, so Busi overheard their conversation.

Madam Cash: "Hope our raw materials are presentable."
Loyati: "Yes, they are all young and looking very attractive. Our clients will like them, trust me."
Madam Cash: "How many are they, and are they all sleeping now?"
Loyati: "There are five, and yes, I checked on them 10 minutes ago. The village girls are all asleep, and I warned them not to turn off the air-conditioner so they can get used to cold weather."
Madam Cash: "Poor girls. I know they will be excited. By the time they cross over, they have no choice but to dance to our music."
Loyati: "Some of them thought they were traveling to study abroad, like the Busi I told you about. She is very beautiful, with straight legs, an oval face, long hair, fair complexion, and attractive features. I'm grooming her a lot because she is a good raw material."
Madam Cash: "Good job. I am glad they will make us millionaires."
Madam Cash: "Great, I'll be expecting you in 2 days' time. Bye."

Initially, Busi was confused, but as the conversation progressed, she became terrified and thought, "Oh my God, so Aunty Loyati, whom I thought was an angel, wants to use us for rituals. Oh my God, save me."

Being an intelligent girl, she pretended that all was well and kept the secret to herself. In the morning, although afraid, she praised Madam Loyati as usual and told her that she wanted to buy a recharge card. As she went out, she ran to a nearby church to thank God for escaping death and afterward told the minister in charge about her problem.

The minister took Busi to the police station, and after she narrated her story to them, the police went to where Loyati and the girls were staying and arrested Loyati. The girls were sent to their various homes, and Loyati was sent to prison for child trafficking.

Almost like a real life story. How many children, young people and families have been involved in this type of deception, which today we can be sure is so real. At first it seemed to me that the story would not have anything terrifying, but what a dramatic change. I liked that it had a happy ending, although many times it is not. Excellent.

A story reminiscent of the horror of similar situations occurring on a large scale today. Thank you very much for participating in the weekly fiction contest, @blessworld Thank you for your interactions with your fellow writers.

Loyati must be a heartless woman for engaging in such a dirty business even without a thought for her relation, Busi. Good a thing she failed.
