I've been using the hive blockchain since it first came out and I've been stacking hive like crazy through investments, trading, defi, gaming and more! Whatever option I have at my hands in the crypto world to stake more hive and build up wealth on applications that run on top of hive you can bet ya I'm there so my views in this post will most likely be bias but I also want to show others what's possible.

I also want to note that this is a combination of investment, buying hive with fiat, staking hive, curation on hive, trading, building relationships with others on hive and more. There's a lot that goes into it but I'm also not doing other things such as development on hive (at least not yet) and running a node for hive (at least not yet) and I'm sure there are other ways to earn that I'm just not doing or thinking about at the moment of writing this.

How It Revolutionized Mine

Hive has always been the blockchain that I return to. Over the last 5 years I've tried many other blockchains including in particular those that are "social" blockchain focused and they have all come up very short. Either it's complicated as hell to get involved with them, you have to pay money to get started or there's fees and other things holding it back. I'd also include that payouts are so low that it just doesn't gain attention or keep my attention to make it worthy of my time. This often will cause me to either forget about the platform or just mess on it a bit from time to time when I have free time I want to fill.

The payouts for hive have been some of the highest active income but I also want to note that wasn't always the case. It took years for me to build up rep and honestly through voicing opinions on matters I've gotten myself muted by some higher ups which means they don't vote on my content. If I played kiss butt all the time then maybe I'd be better off lol but I've never been very political with money I've always spoke my mind, taken others criticism and feedback and made the best opinioned or fact back vocals about the topic.

Social

We all use social media today but hive was primarily a article only blockchain for a long time. If you were not writing 500+ good quality articles every day on the daily then you simply were not getting paid. You'd also have to highly interact with other communities and build a following.

However that's recently changed with Threads from InLeo which is more like a X style treading platform that does very well for onboarding and getting people involved. It's also a great way to start earning you first small amounts of hive and other tokens and get you into the platform to take on articles, play2earn games, defi and more.

Hive Is Your Multi Income Earner

Hive is unique and in being unique it can take some time to learn. But it's really come a long way in I'd say the last 2 years maybe 3 with massive innovation of front ends and the ability to earn in a number of ways.

You see hive can now be earned through defi, articles, threads, pictures from @liketu and video from @3speak and more. But it also allows you to take part in other aspects like gamefi through applications like Splinterlands and more.

This is where building on hive sets apart every other platform that I've attempted to try. There's HUGE opportunity here on hive but I feel most new people that join end up giving up way too soon.
