Hello creative hands

It's another beautiful day and a great opportunity to be part of this community, for awhile now I've been offline due to the problem I had with my phone but I'm glad to let you know that that has been temporarily sorted out.

Coming back online, I went through some of the community and I found out about the monthly Project and I'm glad to let you know that I will give my best to it, I urge you to patiently wait and look forward to what I have to bring to the community daily.

Today, I will be sharing with you how I made this beautiful sleeve with fabric I have left from the outfit I made.

If you've been following my post before now, you will noticed that I usually make my sleeve after cutting out the basic bodice of a dress, this is not an exemption as I had already cut out the skirt and the main bodice of the blouse, the remaining fabric then determined the type of sleeves to attach.

Unfortunately, after cutting out one of the sleeve, the remaining fabric was not enough to make same for the other hand to I decided to make it stylish by adding a different sleeve to the other hand.

Join me as I show you the cutting and sewing process.

First, I cut out a basic sleeve of about 12" then I cut out a 360°flare of 5" then finally I cut out a straight piece of 6" all were turned inside out with matching lining.

All the pieces were sewn together. The straight piece was gathered with an elastic band to give a puff at the hem.

Finally, I have a 3 in I sleeve which will be beautifully attached to the dress I'm presently working on.

See you in my next post as I bring to you the complete outfit.

Thanks for your time, comment and support, it's your girl @Bimpcy 💋💋💋💋
