Most of these little items I make are often given out as gift to people around me except on special orders, I have made several card wallet for myself that people collect from me as soon as they see the design I make and one thing about me is that I like to make better design than the previous ones so people always admire my creativity and love to get beautiful items as this from me. I am mostly known for my creativity that some ask if there is nothing i can't make with fabrics. I appreciate it that they like my work.

Some people have more than one card and they like them all to be arranged and safe in one place, so, for those who might have up to 6 cards, this tutorial is for you to arrange your cards in it just as seen here. This card wallet is made from a single piece of fabric which was creatively designed to achieve this.

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process

I measured and cut out 10 x 13" on my interfacing and it was folded in two as I measured 4 x 3.5" by the top edge and curve it at the top and it was cut out just as seen below

I measured and cut out 10 x 13" from the main fabric and lining while the interfacing I cut out was ironed on the main fabric

The lining and main fabric were placed together and sewn together following the shape of the interfacing while I left an opening by the side where it can be turned inside out

The excess were trimmed off and it was turned inside out through the opening

I ironed it with a pressing iron and it was top stitched round as well as the opening

Both sides were folded to the middle and was ironed on

I measured 1" from the opening at the top and folded it up to locate the middle while I sew on the middle on a straight line

It was folded up and I sew on both sides as well as the middle to secure the folded part, I used my hand needle and thread to fix a pressing button to the middle and the opposite side.

This is the final outcome with my wallet well arranged in it and it was secure with the pressing button

This is the back view as well neatly sewn, I hope you like the simplicity and beautiful outcome of this beautiful 6 pocket wallet I made.

The chosen fabric is very fitting for this wallet, I almost thought it was leather. It's very functional, Thanks for sharing the process with us.
