Beautiful combination of Ankara and lace fabric to make a six pieces skirt and peplum blouse
Hello hiveians
Good morning and a beautiful Monday to all #needleworker @needleworkmonday.
Sharing with you today is my recent outfit made for a client of mine who brought a lace and Ankara fabric for me to combine for her to make a beautiful six pieces skirt but my choice of blouse.
Last week, I was able to cut and sew the six pieces skirt which I posted in my blog making sure the patterns on the fabric aligned with the cutting and sewing of the skirt.
After making the skirt, I proceeded in making the blouse, thinking of what to make, firstly, I cut out a 360° flare and drafted the upper bodice pattern on paper which was transferred and cut out on the Ankara fabric and lace same was done on the sleeves.
I added stay to the bodice and took the cut out pieces to my sewing machine for proper sewing.
After the sewing, the remaining lace fabric was cut into pieces cutting out a particular shape from the lace to make a design round the flare of the blouse.
Finally, I have this beautiful peplum blouse combined with Ankara and lace fabric.
Wow you finally completed the outfit lovely
Yes o, after so much work, it is finally completed and delivered. Thanks.
